Kurt sits on the playground swing. He wasn't playing like he was when he was a child. His mother wasn't there to convince him to go as high as he could, and then jump off. No. He was alone.

Where was Blaine when he needed him most? His heart started to pound, and then it felt like it was stabbed by a thousand black needles. He felt tears roll down his cheeks. He threw his head back. He tried to hold it all back. Nothing but a choke noise comes out.

He falls off of the swing. He's on his knees trying to breathe. He thought his heart was about to give out.

"Kurt?" That voice was like a melody.

He looked up to see a blur of black, blue and red. The black was his hair. The blue and red was the Dalton uniform. Blaine. He lets out another choke noise.

"Kurt, please tell me what's wrong?" Blaine takes his hands and helps him off of the ground. Blaine holds him close.

They're all silent for a long time.
Kurt starts to cry some more. He sniffs so he won't get snot all over the Dalton uniform. Even though Kurt knows Blaine wouldn't care.
"Kurt please, answer me."

Kurt looks up into his gentle hazel eyes. Blaine takes his sleeve and dries Kurt's cheeks.
"I was told you were leaving Dalton." Kurt coughs. "I knew I shouldn't have believed it. But I…I love you. I can't live without you."

"Kurt," Blaine says with a sigh. "I'm never ever going anywhere without you."
"What?" Kurt asks in disbelief.

"I care about you to much too just leave you." Blaine says. He kisses Kurt's cheek.

Kurt lays his head on Blaine's shoulder.
"Kurt?" Blaine whispers in his ear.

"Yes?" Kurt says, coughing some more. He looks into Blaine's eyes again.

"I want you to…to marry me."

Kurt stands speechless. More tears start to fall off of his cheeks. "Yes!" He manages to yell.

They kiss in the park on that spring afternoon. The wind brushes their ankles. They were to be in love for eternity.
