Just another story I wrote when I felt down :(

Very short.

I don't own Naruto.

"Sasuke!"

He opened his eyes, light blinding him as an earth-shattering headache formed in his temples. For several moments after he heard the soft voice, white noise shrieked into his ears as numbness took its toll on his body.

Dazed, he watched as his vision swayed when a hand forced his head to look at them.

"Sasuke...!"

The boy narrowly breathed in and out and squinted his eyes, aware of the pink, green and black that swirled together into a beautiful vortex.

Plip, plop, he felt raindrops dance on his naked skin as an angel continued calling out to him.

When his head slumped down, he saw the red pool that clung to his used-to-be white skin, soaking him to the bone. Blinking sluggishly, he saw the ugly color permenantly painting his flesh an ancient shade, but looked up to see her beautiful covered in it.

"No, Sasuke, no..."

The angel was crying, and he found that he didn't like the despair that crept into her words. Weakly, tenderly, he brushed his wet fingers on her cheeks.

"Don't cry..."

The angel just cried harder, and Sasuke smiled wistfully, ruefully.

"Sakura... sing me a song." He rasped out.

She paused, choking on her sobs for a few moments as the life slowly ebbed away from him.

And she sang. She sang the song she always had when he was down.

"You are my sunshine, my only sunshine..." She stumbled on her words, cradling his cold skin, his head in her lap as he was too weak to even prop it up. His dark eyelashes fluttered as the warm raindrops fell faster, harder, caressing his soul as his heart rate slowed gently.

"You make me happy-" She inhaled. "When skies are gray."

He breathed out as she lightly stroked his jawline, her touch soft like hovering feathers and warm as the raindrops. "You'll never know dear, how much I love you," She sang ironically, her eyes clenching as she felt the hand that held hers loosen its hold.

"So please," She cried. "Please don't take my sunshine away."

And he succumbed to darkness, slumbering peacefully in the girl's arms as he prepared himself for the flight to eternal paradise.

I'll see you soon... Sakura.
