I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety. Psalms 4:8

Dean sat watching the old TV in his motel room. He rarely watched news channels, but it was tuned to CNN when he switched it on.
The images from Japan filled the screen and Dean cringed in horror, thinking of all the lives lost and families ripped apart. He found
himself praying, not a half-assed sarcastic prayer to Castiel, but a full on prayer to God.

"God, I don't know if you are up there, but those people need help. Save some for me please?"

"Faith" said a voice from across the room.

Not the low gravelly voice Dean usually associated with Castiel, but soft and caring. Castiel walked across the room, and sat down on
the bed next to Dean. He said nothing, but Dean felt a rush of air and then a warm embrace of something soft and comforting. Since
both of Castiel's hands were in full view, he realized Castiel had wrapped him in his unseen wings. Looking up into Castiel's eyes he
said nothing, but Cas could see the hurt there, the need to do something to help someone. In an instant he was gone, stretching his
wings to the heavens. He whispered into Dean's mind as he left, "I'll tell them Dean Winchester sent me."

The next day as Dean continued to watch there were more and more stories of disaster, but filtering through from time to time were
stories a few of small triumphs and unbelievable rescues. He couldn't be there, but he knew that some of them had to be Castiel and
hoped that the warm feeling of the angel's winged embrace brought those people some comfort.

"Thank you, God.", Dean whispered.

My prayers and hope go out to Japan and everyone that has been affected by this unfathomable disaster.
