This was it. Alexander is finally going to leave me for good this time. I can't believe that we were so...so stupid. I just can't look my stomach without so much regret. I love Alexander, and I'm glad that we finally, well, you know...did it. I just never thought that I, Raven Madison, could be...pregnant.
There I said it. I'm pregnant at 17 with my vampire boyfriend's child. Wow, it took me a total of, let's see, 20 minutes since taking the test (or should I say tests), to actually say it. I mean, my period was late for a few days...(okay weeks), and I've been nauseous in the mornings (no morning sickness, thank GOD!), and I've been increasingly crabby to Billy Boy as of late.
Right now, I have such a problem, or problems. How do I tell my mom and dad? More importantly, how do I tell Alexander? Maybe I don't have to tell him...maybe he'll just figure it out. Or maybe I should let him figure it out in the delivery room. No way, am I even considering...you know. Whether I like it or not, this baby is something that I made with Alexander out of our love.
I hope that the baby looks like him, with his dark hair, and beautiful brown chocolate orbs. We can all stay up and watch Bela Lugosi in Dracula, and have dark Halloweens together, and watch bats and ravens fly over the mansion. Maybe Becky could help me knit cute little black and red onesies. Speaking of Becky...
"Raven! Raven! Raven! I got your text and I rushed over as soon as the folks let me. What's going on?" She all but shrieked in my ear as we sat outside on a bench at Dullsville's park. I sighed, she is going to freak!
"Okay, Beck, I need you to be very very quiet, and not freak out. You can't tell anyone." I said, warningly. She looked into my eyes, her hair swaying in the cool breeze of a Dullsville evening, nodding her head loyally. I know I can trust her, with anything. "I'm pregnant." Her face went as pale as mine, she clamped her hand over her mouth to hide a squeal. I nod sadly. Her hands grab my lace, gloved hands.
"It's Alexander's, right?"
"Of course! I'm a lot of things Becky, but a tramp and a cheater is not one of them." Her face finally gained some color back and she nodded.
"You're keeping it, aren't you?" I nodded. My parents weren't going to like it, but they were definitely going to have to deal. Becky released the breath she had been holding, the one that she hoped that I wouldn't notice her hold. I knew her views on those kinds of things. "Have you told him?"
"No. But I'm going to. Tonight." This should be awesome. Not.
