Hey there. I'm Emily. Your author. This is just something that came to my mind one day. Doctor/Rose has forever been my OTP, since I started watching Doctor Who probably in 2005 or 2006. Even just writing this made me cry. Which is probably why it's not very good. Oh well. I like it. So...
And there are a few references to the tv show Glee in the beginning paragraph, but not many because this is still in England.
There will probably be more chapters. If I ever get around to writing them. Yeah.
The girl and her little brother walked into the gap store, which was little Rian's favorite place to shop for clothes. The girl heard a song ending just as she walked in, and rolled her eyes. Most of the schools around here had show choirs, and quite often randomly decided to perform in public places. It was bizarre, but something she had gotten used to. She sighed to herself as she felt her little brother tug on her coat. "Rosey! Come on! I wanna go into the store!" whined Rian. Rose opened the door and walked in just as a flood of boys in blue uniforms pushed out past her. Rian grabbed her hand, pulling her towards the children's section. "Go on, Ri," she said. "I'm right behind you." As she walked past the counters, she saw the back of a long brown coat and froze. She stood and closed her eyes, taking a deep breath. This was still hard for her. She saw him in everyone. His eyes, his love, his pain. She still thought about him every day, no matter where she went. He was hers, and always would be, even though they could never be together. He would forever be just an everlasting perfect memory. She realized this was probably another time where her brain played tricks on her, so she opened her eyes and kept walking. She began remembering Bad Wolf Bay, she began remembering the best few years of her life. A single tear fell from her eye as she walked through the Gap on a normal Friday afternoon. She glanced back at the man in the coat, who was having a conversation with one of the boys in uniform. It wasn't him. It wasn't his hair or perfect face. It wasn't his awkwardly lanky body. As she stared at him, he turned his head a little. She saw his eyes. His eyes were not those of a seemingly thirty-year-old. They were too old, too wise. They had seen too much pain. They were the eyes of a man who had seen the universe. They were his eyes.
She stood in the middle of the store as a quiet sob left her. She began to walk toward him, as though in a haze. It was him. When she was not far away, he saw her. He froze so suddenly the young boy in the uniform looked alarmed. "Rose?" he asked so quietly it was almost a whisper. She nodded slowly, getting faster. "Yeah. Yeah it's me."
He walked toward her as she flung herself around him, sobbing, and hugging the man she loved. Even the Doctor was crying at this point. "But I don't understand how you can even be here! You regenerated again apparently," she said pulling a little out of the hug. "You really are here, aren't you? It really is you. It really, truly is."
