AN: Hey, it's Lex.

This story is just a random attempt to try and cure my writer's block. Really, I hate writer's block.

I was just looking up quotes, and one of my favorites it She Believed.

In case you didn't know, the secret message is She Believed; He lied.

He took her from her home

K-i-d-n-a-p-p-e-d her while no one was watching.

She was t/e/r/r/i/f/i/e/d of him.

She was so, so,s.c.a.r.e.d of what he would do to her.

Maybe he would never let her leave

Or even do something w/o/r/s/e to her.

But instead, he promised to take care of her.

He p.r.o.m.i.s.e.d to never let her be hurt.

('Cause there's nothing worse than being hurt...)

And for a while, she believed him.

Even when he tricked her into eating that wretched pomegranate.

[But at least he was an escape from her mother's nagging]

&& for a while she had her fairytale come true

They were in l-o-v-e (Ssh, don't tell Mother.)

But, but soon she found out...

Mom had been right the entire time.

She believed.

Aphrodite was so, so c.r.u.e.l

(He didn't love her.)

He loved a mortal.

She would n/e/v/e/r e/v/e/r be able to match up to her.

Because she had black, black hair

&& b/r/o/w/n, b/r/o/w/n eyes

And she could give him what Persephone couldn't...

[Demigod children.]

A chanceto be in the limelight.

A c-h-a-n-c-e for the house of Hades to be heroes.

Oh yeah, it was definitely about that prophecy.

That c.u.r.s.e.d prophecy.

Truth was, she'd been r/e/p/l/a/c/e/d

(Even worse, by a mortal)

She thought he loved her.

She Believed.

(But guess what, he lied.)
