I bet you're all quite surprised. Root of Desire is not being discontinued, but I know some of you will be very disappointed in learning that I am moving the fic to adultfanfiction and will no longer be posting it here. In fact, as many of you have probably seen, I have taken down all chapters but chapter 1.

A couple of readers brought up some concerns to me about the direction the fic is taking and I have decided that it would not be appropriate for me to continue posting here at fanfiction where my story can be read by anybody and may give out the wrong message and display inappropriate content to the younger readers.

After some discussion and a lot of deep thinking, I have decided to move the fic over to AFF where the story can be tagged with the proper warnings and will be unavailable to those under 18. I do not make this decision lightly and I'm sorry to leave many of you hanging; it was amazing to see the review count surpass 300 at only Ch 8 and near 400 with the addition of Ch 9. As AFF has no alert system, those of you that want to continue to follow it I encourage to send me a PM and I will see about arranging an email/PM list so that I can inform you when RoD is updated. While I appreciate those of you who feel bristled on my behalf, don't be. I wouldn't be doing this if I didn't agree with the people who critiqued me. It was a humbling and enlightening conversation and I'm glad it happened. The story was already fishing in controversial territory and Fanfiction net doesn't allow stories with the MA rating, though I realize that there is little regulation and they get posted anyway. Please do not leave comments/reviews trashing or belittling them. If I get more, I will open a can of whoop-ass on anyone who does. They didn't make this decision, I did. Please, respect my decision.
