Snow
The snow falls in light swirls all around, falling in his hair, on his eyelashes as he looks up. Kurt was surprised that morning to discover that it had snowed so late in February, but it had been a welcome change from the grey skies and rain.
Kurt smiles to himself as he twirls delicately in a circle, enjoying the way the wind bites against his nose and cheeks, smiling slightly as snowflakes fall and melt on his lips. Just as he twirls around for a third time, he feels warm arms wrap gently around his waist.
And like a snowflake, he feels himself melt into the touch.
Kurt squirms around in Blaine's arms so that he is facing him. Both boys smile brilliantly, savouring the moment as their eyes meet, body heat sharply contrasting with the chill around them.
Blaine is the first to break the silence.
"Wow." Kurt gives him a quizzical look, quirking his head to one side.
"What?" He asks quietly, not wishing to disrupt the soft whooshing sound of snow hitting the ground, or the muffled quality of the air.
"You're really beautiful." Blaine whispers softly in Kurt's ear.
Kurt looks down, blushing, and sighs. No matter how long they're together, he doesn't think Blaine will ever stop making him blush like that. And he can't help but smile internally at having someone to make him blush that way. Or, maybe, not so internally, as his smile widens several miles.
Kurt snuggles into Blaine's neck, mumbling a soft, "So are you," completely entranced by the heat of Blaine's skin and the stubble that tickles his cheek ever so slightly. They stay that way for days, neither one whishing to break the magic, neither wanting to leave the other's arms.
This time, Kurt is the one to interrupt the trance, lifting his face from the crook of Blaine's neck to look into his beautiful hazel eyes. He trails one finger along Blaine's jaw, relishing the feeling of Blaine shivering under his touch. Or, from the cold? Blaine leans into Kurt's hand, pressing a feather light kiss to this tips of his fingers. No, it's defiantly his touch. Which makes Kurt smile even broader, eyes crinkling up in happiness.
The smile on Kurt's lips fades as Blaine's eyes intensify in colour, grow darker, his whole body leaning into Kurt as if he can't get close enough. As if, even if they melted into each other, it still wouldn't be enough. Not nearly enough.
Blaine leans closer and Kurt follows, eyes fluttering closed as his lips brush over Blaine's. It's barely a touch, and Kurt cannot stand it. He threads his fingers through Blaine's curls and tugs his face forward, crashing their lips together into a passionate, exciting, loving, defining kiss.
