With A Bow

"What on earth are you wearing, Sirius?" Remus Lupin asked incredulously, looking his boyfriend up and down curiously.

"It's a bow. Don't you like it?" Sirius pouted in his best mock-offended way.

"It's not a bow. It's an octopus." Remus observed. Octopus may have been a slight exaggeration, but it was certainly beyond the realms of mere bowdom. Sirius appeared to have tied a large flouncy womens scarf around his neck, in lieu of his school tie.

"No, it's a bow. Do you know why I am wearing a bow?" Sirius grinned teasingly, and Remus cocked an eyebrow.

"You're still trying to convince me to go public?" He asked, folding his arms and resting his weight on one leg.

"Well, yes, but that's not why. Today, Mister Lupin," Sirius smirked, taking a slow, seductive step towards Remus. "Today is your birthday. And seeing as I'm broke, I thought I might let you unwrap me instead."

"Oh, did you just?" Remus smirked also, catching on. He reached out and took one of the bow's loose ends, tugging it teasingly.

"I did indeed." Sirius smirked. Remus gave the bow a decent pull and it came undone, fabric running smoothly down Sirius' shirt. "Happy birthday, Moony."
