A/N:-

So this took a little longer to finish writing than I expect, but here it is the epilogue.

I hope you enjoy it.

Epilogue

6 months had passed by since that fateful night.

Bella had quit her job in Los Angeles and relocated to Seattle, where she had recently started attending the University of Washington to gain her teaching qualification. She had come to the realisation, a few weeks after the reunion that the only reason she had decided not to follow her dreams of becoming a teacher was because it reminded her of Edward and all the hopes and dreams they had spoken about.

Edward had decided to return to the music industry. Over the last couple of months he had been working hard with Jasper and Emmett to start up his very own label, where he would be writing and producing music. They had been scouting out all the hotspots in Seattle where singers could show case their talent, figuring that until they were an established label that they should approach the artists instead of wasting money on advertising, and then wasting even more time going through demos that would eventually have to be discarded and then send out a rejection letter.

Alice and Jasper had returned to Seattle too. Alice had stated that she could be a fashion designer anywhere, and Jasper would do anything to make Alice happy, so he had promptly quit his job at the L.A Times where he had worked as a reporter covering up and coming artists in the area. He claimed that it had never truly been his passion, and that he had always intended to go into producing, but every application he had sent to labels all over Los Angeles had been most cruelly rejected. So when Edward approached him about starting up a label together, it seemed like all the stars had aligned, at least according to Alice.

Rosalie and Emmett had found out three months ago that they were pregnant. It was then that Emmett decided he needed a job where he wasn't consistently in hospital with injuries, and so he had joined Edward and Jasper in their business venture. Rosalie was offered a promotion at work, but upon finding out she was pregnant had declined because the position required her to work 40 and sometimes 50 hour weeks, not to mention the amount of weekend work she would be required to put it. Rosalie simply said that it just wasn't worth it if she was going to miss out on her baby's life.

Sophie was quickly enrolled in therapy, as soon as Bella relocated to Seattle, to help her deal with all the emotions she was feeling because of the events of reunion night. She was going twice a week, and appeared to be making good progress. For a ten and a half year old, she was dealing with everything remarkably well, or so her therapist informed Edward and Bella whenever they asked, which was before and after every single session. Her mind, needless to say, was still quite a mess. The main thing she was still having difficulty with was how Riley had gone from being the perfect father figure to a complete and total psycho in a split second. A couple of months into therapy, Sophie began to call Edward dad, and meant it, which was the first big breakthrough, and from there on out she came on leaps and bounds. Her therapist had suggested that she keep a diary to write down her thoughts and feelings, which they would discuss at their meetings, and she did religiously wrote in it every morning and night, and many times in between. This seemed to be helping her more than the talking, and in that way she was very much becoming more and more like her mother every day.

It was the night that C&M records were to debut their newest signing Bree Tanner. A promising, young singer who everyone thought would be a worldwide sensation by this time next year.

Alice, Rosalie and Bella were all getting ready upstairs at Bella and Edward's, with Sophie sitting on the bed complaining loudly about how it was so unfair that she couldn't go with them tonight, whilst the boys were cracking open a beer downstairs discussing "business".

"So, tonight's the night, huh, Eddie boy," Emmett said nudging Edward in the side, and then flopped down on the couch with a fresh bottle of beer.

"Yeah, Ali and Rose helped me out tonnes," Edward said with a smile on his face thinking about the excruciatingly long shopping trip he had taken earlier that week whilst Bella was studying. He now completely understood why Bella's face always fell when the word shopping was mentioned. Rose and Alice were shopaholics, and always sought perfection to find exactly the right item before buying it, even if it meant going round hundreds of shops, and then returning to the very first shop to purchase the item. Which Edward was sad to say was exactly the case.

Edward had the evening all planned out to perfection. And it was all going to begin with the launch party for Bree Tanner.

The launch party was a resounding success. Bree performed her debut single: It's not over yet, to perfection. The guests were so captivated by her sultry tones and the honesty in her voice and face as she performed. Edward, Jasper and Emmett were glancing at each other the entire time, knowing that she was a very rare gem and that they were extremely lucky to have found her at that open mike night a few months ago.

As the party began to wind down, Edward sought out Bella to whisk her away to The Sky City restaurant at The Space Needle, where he had hired out the whole room for the night. He figured that this would be the perfect place to do what he had planned, as he recalled from a conversation he and Bella had a few weeks prior that she had always wanted to go there but for some reason never had done.

"Edward, where are you taking me?" Bella laughed as Edward guided out of an elevator and down a never ending hallway.

"Hush love, we're almost there," he whispered before kissing her chastely on the cheek as they took a few more steps out on to the balcony.

Edward whipped the blindfold off; Bella gasped at the sight before her, the view was incredible.

Somewhere in the distance an orchestra began to play, and Edward went down onto one knee before her, and produced a small velvet box.

"Isabella Marie Swan, we have been through so much together but not once have I stopped loving you. I've made so many mistakes in the past, and my biggest one was losing you; I won't let that happen again. Will you marry me?"

"Yes, yes," Bella exclaimed. "A thousand times yes."

Edward placed the ring on Bella's finger and then stood up and swung her around in elation; he then set her down on her feet and pulled her in for a passionate kiss, the troubles of their past forgotten and looking forward to a bright future.
