"Lavender-onee-chan~, play with me!" A young girl called from a far, waving her arm.

"Right, right, in a second!" Lavender called.

Another girl, slightly older, approached her. "Wait, Lavender."

"What's wrong?"

"I just want to thank you for everything."

"I was just doing what I thought was right."

"Yeah, well, I wanted to give you this."

Lavender laughed a little. "A friendship bracelet? Really?"

"We all have one. Don't laugh, okay?!"

Lavender smiled. "Thanks, I'll treasure it."

Lavender woke up in a cold sweat. That nightmare again…?

(Opening) (Title Card: "Chaos and confusion! Lavender's illusion plan?")

"Happy Halloween~!" Tomiko cheered as she walked into Rainbow Confections in an orange and black costume. Liyana, Raven, Momo, and Asami were eating at a table.

"As expected of the cosplay club's president," Raven sighed.

"But of course I wouldn't miss this opportunity." Tomiko grabbed a pumpkin cookie from the plate shared between them.

"You look cute," Momo said.

"Well, duh," Tomiko grabbed a seat and sat between her and Asami.

"Does anyone have plans for today?" Liyana asked. "I'm staying here to help out."

"Then, I'll stay here and help out, too," Raven said.

"Raven just wants to eat sweets all day," Momo said.

"I'm paying for it!" Raven blushed.

"I'd like to take a walk in the autumn air," Asami said.

"Do you have any plans, Momo-chan?" Tomiko asked.

"I don't have any work today so I wanted to go to the movies," Momo said. "Want to come with me?"

"I might have plans," Tomiko said.

"Really?" Asami asked.

"… No, none at all," Tomiko said as the others laughed. "So I guess I'll hang out with you since I have nothing better to do."

"You're so dishonest, Tomiko," Momo said.

None of them knew that Lavender was eavesdropping on them outside of the building. "Once they split up, I'll attack~."

(Eyecatch 1: Liyana and Asami are helping in Rainbow Confections. A loud crash from the kitchen happens and they rush to find Raven, Tomiko, & Momo covered in sugar. Liyana helps clean up, Asami, annoyed, leaves, and Momo licks sugar off Raven and Tomiko's, now embarrassed, faces. Then the logo appears.)

(Eyecatch 2: Liyana, Raven, and Tomiko are picking cards. Tomiko gets a Blizzard card and Raven gets Cayenne. Liyana gets a Stormera card and drops it as she pouts sadly. Then the logo appears.)

"I want to go with you," Nimbus said.

Asami stood at her front door with her arms folded. "I want to take a peaceful walk. If you come, it won't be peaceful."

"How mean!" Nimbus complained.

Stratus came and pulled her away. "I'll take her away."

"Arigato," Asami said as she finally left her house. She decided just to walk in her estate which was pretty big.

Since it was Halloween, Nimbus would try to scare her with pictures she'd pull up from her phone, or make her watch scary movies. She wanted to avoid her today as much as possible.

The thought of her phone made Asami stop and pull out her own. Huh? When did Mina call me? Asami thought, tapping on her name to call her back.

"Hello? Mina?" Asami asked. No one said anything. "Hey, say something!" Silence. "Mina, stop fooling around just because it's Halloween," Asami expected to hear Mina laughing followed by an apology, but nothing came.

"Mina?" The call ended, and of course Asami was freaked out. She decided to keep walking and forget about it until she was enveloped in darkness.

When Asami could see again, she saw herself as Cure Serene pointing her scepter towards Nimbus' throat. Asami gasped as she realized that this was when she almost killed her.

"Serene… Asami… please stop," Nimbus said.

"No... not this again!" Asami was too overcome by sadness to realize that it was only an illusion, but unlike what really happened Cure Serene wasn't distracted by Nimbus' words.

"Precure Floral Hurricane!"

Asami watched in horror as Nimbus fell to the ground. Lavender then attacked Cure Serene from behind who ended up falling right beside her. Lavender bent down to Cure Serene and found her shuffle pen and crushed it to pieces. "Ambience's victory~."

"It's all my fault..." Asami cried as she fell to the ground. The illusion disappeared, but the effect was still strong.

"One down, four to go," Lavender smirked as she disappeared.

At Rainbow Confections, Liyana flipped the open sign to closed as soon as the last customer of the day left.

"Raven, help me clean up?" Liyana asked.

"Sure," Raven said as Liyana went to get supplies. Raven's phone vibrated and read that her mom wanted to go home. "Gomen, Liyana, I have to go home."

"That's okay. You were great company today," Liyana said.

Raven blushed. "I'll see you later."

"Okay," Liyana said as she began sweeping the floor.

Raven went outside and headed home. I wonder what Mom wants... she thought as she became trapped in darkness. "Eh? What's going on?!"

When it was light again, Raven found herself looking at herself and Liyana standing in what appeared to be Liyana's bedroom. "What is this?"

"I can't believe you're dating him!" Raven yelled, tears in her eyes. The real Raven flinched. She never yelled at Liyana like that before.

"Why are you so upset? I thought you were happy for me?" Liyana asked.

"I'm not, and I never will be!" Raven said.

"Why?" Liyana asked sadly.

"I love you," Raven said,

"Eh, you... love me? Ehhh? Then, what about Tomiko?" Liyana asked.

"I never liked Tomiko! Only you," Raven said, moving closer to Liyana, but she backed away.

"I'm sorry, Raven. I love you as a friend. You know that," Liyana said.

"I know. I know, and I don't care anymore!" Raven pushed Liyana roughly against a wall and kissed her, removing Liyana's clothes.

Raven gasped. "Stop it! I will never do that!"

"Raven, stop this! I don't want this~, Raven!" Liyana yelled while crying.

Raven closed her eyes and covered her ears. "I won't do that! Even if Liyana rejects me, I'll never hurt her!" A flash of light made Raven open her eyes. Liyana had slapped her.

"I can't believe you! Get out! I'm never speaking to you again!"

Raven fell to her knees. "No... what did I do?" She started crying.

Lavender came out from hiding her place. "That's the problem with humans. Love is an illusion."

Lavender heard someone coming and went off to the movie theater where Momo and Tomiko. Liyana had closed the shop and was about to head home. "Raven!" She rushed to her side. "What's wrong, Raven?"

"I hurt you," Raven said.

"Eh?" Liyana asked. "What are you talking about?"

"Liyana!" Blizzard was flying towards her with Cayenne. "Lavender's presence was just near here-blizzu!"

"She must've put Raven under an illusion! How do I get her back to normal?" Liyana asked.

"Everyone!" Saffron called as she flew towards them. "Asami has been put under a strong illusion-safu!"

"Lavender must be attacking us one by one, Alright, I'll stop her," Liyana said as she stood up, pulling out her cell phone.

"Honey and Clover are in the theater, too. We can't contact them-caya," Cayenne said.

"I'll warn Tomiko and Momo-san," Liyana said, pulling out her cell phone and sending a message. "Precure Shuffle Action Start! The chill of awakening smile, Cure Bliss!"

Bliss picked up Raven and placed her in a chair. "Saffron, tell Nimbus to come here and take Raven where Asami-san is."

"Okay-safu," Saffron said before flying off.

"You two stay here with her," Bliss said.

While Bliss rushed to the movie theater, Tomiko and Momo was still enjoying their movie, not having received Liyana's message yet. Since it was Halloween, Momo had chose a scary movie. It didn't bother neither one of them, and if it did, they were good at hiding it.

Tomiko eyed the popcorn that the two of them shared. Momo's idea, of course. When Tomiko reached to get some, Momo would try to grab her hand.

"You're scared, right?" Momo asked.

"I'm not, idiot," Tomiko scoffed, crossing her arms . Her phone then vibrated causing her to flinch.

"Are you?" Momo asked.

"It was my phone!" Tomiko said while reading the message. "Lavender's coming to get us! Asami-san and Raven!"

"Let's go then," Momo said. The two rushed outside the theater and transformed.

Clover and Honey came out of their hiding spot and watched from a distance.

"The shock of an unexpected thrill, Cure Shock!"

"The shine of perfect harmony, Cure Chime!"

"Guys!" Bliss called as she ran to them. "Any sign of her?"

"No, not yet," Chime said.

"I heard Asami-san say once that Lavender can only use an illusion on one person at a time," Shock said.

"Good, that means she can't get all three of us at once," Chime said.

"On the contrary," Lavender sneaked up behind Chime and Shock, holding them by their necks. "Just because I'm supposed to doesn't mean I'll do it."

"Lavender, let them go," Bliss said, noticing that Lavender looked tired.

"Why should I? My plan is already going so well~," Lavender said, her eyes glowing before she let Shock and Chime fall to the ground. Now they were experiencing an illusion. Lavender stumbled a bit as her eyes returned the normal.

"Why are you pushing yourself so hard to defeat us?" Bliss asked.

"It's my job. I will be victorious, not Sayuki," Lavender said.

"But isn't Sayuki your boss?" Bliss asked.

"Look, your only problem should be that I am about to defeat you," Lavender said.

"I feel bad for you," Bliss said.

"...Why?" Lavender asked.

"I sort of understand though," Bliss said. "Just like we pretty cure are trying are hardest for good, you're doing the same for the opposite."

"Good. Then you know I'm the enemy," Lavender said.

"If that's what you want," Bliss said, taking a defensive stance. Both girls were surprised when they saw Nimbus running towards them and stood between them. "Yuu-san?"

"Don't get in the way, Nimbus," Lavender said.

"I just want to say something," Nimbus said. "I was never properly purified so I still can use some of power."

"So? It's not enough to defeat me," Lavender said.

"I don't want to defeat you," Nimbus reached into her pocket and pulled out two bracelets. "Surely you still have yours?"

"Are you a child? Of course not..." Lavender said.

"Back when we actually liked each other... how nostalgic," Nimbus smiled.

"Nimbus, I'm not afraid to hurt you if you don't move," Lavender said.

"If you want to waste your life, fine! Don't act like I didn't try to do something nice!" Nimbus said before walking away.

"Lavender...?" Bliss asked.

"Shut up! I defeat you, all of you!" Lavender was struggling with trying to maintain the four illusions on the cures as well as trying to fight Cure Bliss. Then, Nimbus had to bring up the past.

Years ago in Twilight Oasis, Lavender was a regular girl, a nice one. One day, two sisters showed up at her home, seeking refuge from Ambience.

"Our mom was forced to leave us. She told us to find you," Nimbus said while holding Stratus' hand.

"Yes," Lavender said. "I'm Lavender. Of course, you can stay."

"I'm Nimbus. This kid is Stratus. I'll make this up to you one day, somehow."

"Is that why she came here?" Lavender's eyes filled up with tears. "Cure Bliss, draw out your sword!"

"Eh?" Bliss asked.

"I can't do it. I can't keep up with being evil anymore!" Lavender cried. "I never wanted to destroy Twilight Oasis or anything. I was born there!"

The illusions were wearing off and the other four cures were slowly returning to normal. Raven and Asami transformed and were on the way to the others as well as Nimbus, Stratus, and the fairies. Cure Shock and Cure Chime had gotten up and were very angry.

"You have some nerve!" Shock complained as sparks flew from her hand.

"Wait, don't attack her!" Bliss exclaimed.

"Huh? Why?!" Shock asked.

"No! Don't protect me!" Lavender said just as the others arrived.

"Why did you betray Twilight Oasis and join Ambience?" Cure Rage asked.

"I was forced to join. All three of us were," Lavender said.

"Is that true?" Chime asked Nimbus and Stratus.

"Yeah, we were born Twilight Oasis, too," Stratus said.

"Then, Sayuki wasn't?" Shock asked.

"No, he's pure evil," Lavender said. "The only reason I dated him was to fake my loyalty."

"You two broke up?!" Nimbus asked excitedly.

Serene glared at her.

"U-Um, not like I care or anything..." Nimbus added quickly.

"If you want to kill me, I can do nothing but accept it. I already lost now," Lavender said.

"Why would we kill you if you're a good person?" Bliss asked.

"You just said that you're trying the hardest for good, didn't you?" Lavender asked.

"Do you want to get reformed, then?" Bliss asked.

"No," Lavender said flatly, leaving the others confused.

"Why not? You won't have to work anymore if your powers are stripped," Nimbus said.

"I can't go back home after this," Lavender said. "There's no point."

"There is. People can change if they really want to," Bliss said firmly.

"Lavender-onee-chan!"

Lavender was shocked to see Stratus running towards them.

Stratus tried to catch her breath, leaning on Nimbus. "Let them... help you."

A male voice spoke. "Even Stratus agrees, huh?"

"Sayuki!" Bliss exclaimed. The cures stood on guard.

Sayuki appeared behind Lavender. "I knew you were good from the beginning. All of you were nothing but pawns." Sayuki raised his hand towards Lavender's back and sucked all the magical energy from within her and into her him.

Lavender winced before she collapsed to the ground. She was a regular girl again,

"You disappointed me the most, Lavender," Sayuki said. "Even though you had so much potential."

Lavender opened her eyes halfway and listened.

"You are an illusion," Sayuki said.

A faint apology could be heard from her lips before she faded away.

The cures, fairies, Nimbus, and Stratus were all surprised speechless.

"An illusion?" Nimbus broke the silence.

"I've been waiting for this moment," Sayuki grinned and clenched his fist.

"What happened to Lavender?" Bliss asked.

"Lavender already died years ago. She used her illusion powers to stay in a physical form. But now that I've taken them away, she can't come back," Sayuki explained.

"S-She was ghost?" Rage and Serene were both distraught by this.

"After all that's happened, I believe it," Shock said.

"You," Bliss glared at Sayuki. "You would use her like that?"

"I have to do what had to be done," Sayuki said. "Like I care." Sayuki disappeared.

"Lavender was..." Stratus' eyes were tearing up.

"You okay?" Nimbus put a hand on Stratus' shoulder.

"I-I'm fine!" Stratus shook Nimbus' hand off and quickly wiped her eyes with her sleeves.

"He should be coming back," Chime said.

Serene recomposed herself. "You're right. We should stay on our guard in the future."

The other girls agreed. The cures transformed back to civilian form and started to head back home. Liyana and Stratus trailed behind the others.

"Why are you so sad?" Stratus asked. "It's not like you knew her like I did."

"Of course I'm sad," Liyana said. "Everyone deserves a second chance."

Stratus looked up at her. "Even Sayuki?"

Liyana frowned. "No. Sayuki's all out of chances."

Stratus said nothing, but had never seen Liyana that angry before.

More than impressed, she was a bit afraid.
