Luna came out of the bathroom to find her husband of 7 years standing stiffly at the large windows in their bedroom, arms crossed over his chest and a scowl marring his handsome features. It might appear as though he was looking at the gardens bathed in moonlight, but he was replaying the events of the night.
Luna came up behind him, wrapped her arms around him and placed a kiss to his back. "Draco, let it go. I don't understand why you get so worked up about this every time." Draco twined his fingers with hers and let out a sigh.
"He watches you the entire time, practically undressing you with his eyes. I don't like it." Luna rolled her eyes, thankful that Draco couldn't see. Ever since they first started dating, almost 10 years ago, Draco had displayed a possessive streak. While he never said, Luna felt it was because he didn't feel as though he deserved her and was worried that she might come to her senses and leave him.
In the beginning she found it sweet, but it began to grate on her nerves when he would glare at every man they encountered. He had eased up a bit once they were married, having stopped glaring at Harry, Ron, Blaise and Theo. The only people to get the Malfoy glare these days were strangers and Neville Longbottom.
Luna and Neville had dated for about a year when he called it off. She had been surprised to say the least, but when she found Neville a week later with one of his colleagues, all the pieces seemed to fit. Several months later she ran in to Draco and they started meeting for coffee. A few months later he asked her out on a date and they have been together ever since.
"Draco, it's been ten years. He left me. There was never a question of whether I would take him back. I explain this to you every time we see him." Draco rubbed his tired eyes and turned to face the love of his life.
"I know, but he just gets under my skin. He leers at you than smirks at me. It seems to be getting worse." Luna wrapped her arms around him again and buried her face in his chest. She felt him relax a bit as he wrapped his arms around her shoulders and kissed the top of her head.
"Draco, he knows I belong with you. Everyone knows. This sparkling monstrosity on my finger, my last name and our children tell everyone I belong to you." Draco's laugh rumbled through his chest and made Luna smile.
"I know, I know. Why do you put up with me?" Luna laughed and gave kiss to his chest. "Where else would I find great sex?" Draco gave a playful slap to her arse. "Alright, it's because I love you." Luna could feel his grin against her hair.
"I love you too. I will try to let it go, but you know how I am." Luna shook her head but smiled up at him. "Yes, I do. That's why Harry is the only one willing to work with you. We should get him something very nice for his birthday, thanking him for not making me a widow." Draco looked thoughtful before smiling and nodding in agreement. "If we must."
Luna took his hand and walked them to the bed. "I'm tired. Someone kept me dancing all night." Draco blushed and then crawled in next to his wonderful wife. Luna took his hand and gave a kiss to his palm before placing it on her stomach. "I also love you because baby #3 will be here in 8 months."
Luna waved her hand and the lights went out leaving Draco to stare into the darkness with a huge grin on his face.
