"Tifa,' a male voice, one that most definitely not Cloud Strife, her lover who was currently making love to her, called through the wooden barrier of her door and she mentally screamed no.
"Are you kidding me?" Cloud hissed to her but made no effort to get off her; if anything he deliberately slowed his movement.
"Cloud!" she slapped his shoulder only to get a smirk in return.
"Tifa, are you there?" Barret's voice called through the barrier once more and she groaned.
"Yeah, I'm here," she half squeaked the last word as Cloud decided to have fun with her nipple.
"Are you alright?" Barret asked concern clear in his voice.
"Yes!" Tifa half screamed, startling the older man into taking a step back from the door.
"Geez Tifa, there's no need to scream," Barret barked back before eyeing the door with a suspicious glare. He knew Tifa could take care of herself, not to mention the men knew they couldn't mess around with her, not if they wanted the group coming after them with Cloud at the front line.
"Papa?" asked Marlene as she came closer to him wondering why he was standing in front of Tifa's door.
"Oh, hey Marlene," Barret greeted his daughter.
"Oh please tell me you are kidding me," Tifa muttered to Cloud, burying her face into his neck as she tried to clamp down on her pleasure that Cloud was intent on bringing her and her exasperation. Didn't she make it clear to Barret that Marlene and Denzel weren't to come back until Sunday night?
"Why are you standing there?" Marlene asked.
"I was just trying to see if it was okay for me to take you and Denzel to the Golden Saucer," Barret admitted before he spotted Denzel making his way down the hallway confused.
"I swear Cloud is about. His bike is here and his sword is in the garage but he isn't in the bar or his work room," Denzel told him. Barret narrowed his eyes before they widen as they looked toward Tifa's door as understanding dawned on them and his skin darkened.
"Alright, we're leaving now!" Barret half shouted through the door, half shouted at the kids who took a step back from the older man in shock before he ushered them out of the bar as quickly as he could.
"But I wanted to see Cloud," Denzel protested.
"I have a feeling Cloud is a bit busy at the moment," Barret muttered as he got them into the truck and drove off, shaking his head.
Cloud and Tifa listened to the footsteps receding down the hallway before Cloud turned back to Tifa with a smirk.
"Now, you can scream," he told her and got a glare in return.
