A/N: Welcome to our next entry and I hope you all are ready to get back to our (my) favorite assassin lol. Last entry we caught up with Steve and the possible things that might be coming his way. Katana somehow worked her way to get "close" to him by getting the role as his bodyguard, how'd that happen we'll touch on in a later chapter. Asuka Kazama will also be working in one of the establishments he owns, so yay? Lol honestly, she's not a fav of mine but I don't mind just throwing her in a few scenes now and then. Let's catch up with Nina shall we?

Entry 16: The Assassin…

"Nina it's me…*sigh*…I know we haven't been on the best of terms lately and we obviously can't stand one another, but…there's something I think you should know about the ace Kazuya has up his sleeve. Let's meet at the spot where we had our tenth shoot-out, somehow it's been turned into a café. Ten o'clock, tomorrow morning. No guns, no weapons, no fighting, just…us talking. If you don't show up, that's fine and if you don't trust me, I never expected you to. I'll see what your answer is in the morning."

"END OF NEW MESSAGE."

Nina scoffed as she just finished listening to the voice message Anna left on her machine earlier that morning. She couldn't help but chuckle to herself because it was the most obvious and stupidest trap attempt that her sister has ever made. Did Anna really think that she would fall for it? There was no way that woman would give up anything concerning her employer, especially if that employer was Kazuya. Nina had to give her a little credit though, because her sister's voice really had the sound of sincerity in it, almost like she was serious.

For the third time her machine asked for a command regarding the message and Nina finally responded to discard it. Anna needed to come up with some other plan, because this one wasn't going to get her anywhere.

9:00PM

Jin, Nina, Steve and Xiaoyu sat in a few chairs that circled a wooden round table within the underground warehouse base. Two days ago, it was planned for them to meet so they could actually discuss putting, whatever Jin's plan was, into action. Nina had an idea of what it consisted of, but the other two were still in the dark.

Steve leaned forward, resting his elbows on the surface of the table, "So what's the deal? I was able to shake off that new bodyguard, but it won't take her long to track me down."

Nina snickered, "I guess she's not as good as she claimed to be. Still seems unsettling to me that your manager would up and trade-in your two most trusted bodyguards."

"Yeah, I found it strange too, but when I talked to Mario, he confirmed that her story wasn't made up."

"I'll do some research on this woman and get it squared away."

"I hope you'll be doing that in your spare time." Jin had his arms crossed over his chest as he was laid back within his chair."

"Oh please." She rolled her eyes. "Anyway, let's give the kids the details and quickly be done with this little meeting shall we."

"Kids?" Both Steve and Xiaoyu responded while looking at the other.

Jin sighed, "Alright then. The plan is simple, a past threat is slowly resurfacing and if nothing is done about it then the entire world will crumble." His statement got a gasp out of Xiaoyu while Steve looked in disbelief.

"Yeah right, there's nothing that terrible out there. Is there?" The famed boxer turned to Nina who closed her eyes and sighed.

She then looked over at Jin who nodded his head for her to continue where he left off, "Three years ago Jin faced the demon Azazel and succeeded, though perishing in the process." Nina motioned her head in his direction, "Or so we thought. Jin had his reasons as to why, and part of that was to prevent something that's starting to happen now."

"What is that?" Xiao asked.

"The growth of Kazuya's devil power." Jin finally sat himself up. "Azazel practically had the power pouring out of him; more than enough to make Kazuya the most powerful being on the planet."

"But that thing is gone right?" Steve chuckled nervously, "You took care of it so there's no way…"

"Apparently destroying him wasn't enough. Remnants of his power…the aura of that power is still leaking out somehow. It's very faint and perhaps Kazuya hasn't noticed it yet, but that power is making it's way to him."

"So all we have to do is find the source and take care of it before Mishima finds out." Steve pounded one of his fist into the palm of his other.

Jin shook his head, "I've tried…there is no source."

Steve gritted his teeth as Xiaoyu became worried, "So what do we do? If your father gains more power; that would mean…"

"All hale the Mishima Empire." Nina folded her arms below her chest.

"I doubt world domination is what he's aiming for." Jin cupped his hands together, resting them on the table. "But having more power won't be good for anyone either way. With no source, the only other option would be to take care of Kazuya."

"You don't mean…" Xiaoyu lowered her eyes, "…kill him, do you?"

Nina smirked as she leaned back in her chair, "And if it did?"

"Don't tease her Ms. Williams." The man sighed before turning to the girl to reassure her. "Nothing like that Xiao."

"Then like what exactly?" Steve raised an eyebrow.

"There is word that Dr. Bosconovitch has created a special serum that can be synthesized to produce a concoction that can alternate cells within any living organism."

Xiao's ears perked up, "Dr. Bosconovitch? The scientist that created Alisa?"

Jin nodded and Steve raised one of his hands before speaking, "So, let me get this straight…you want to use this serum to change Kazuya's cells?"

"No…" Nina looked over at Jin since it was her first time hearing about such a serum, "…you want to rid him of the devil inside…don't you?"

"The devil gene, yes. Without that, my father will no longer gain power from the remnants of Azazel's."

The woman narrowed her eyes at him, "Where is this so called serum?"

"I don't know."

"And the probability that it actually exists?"

"I'd say, since it's by word of mouth from several informants…forty percent chance." Jin hunched his shoulders.

Nina sighed, "If the odds are that low, how in the hell will this plan be put into motion?"

Jin gave her a slight grin, "I did hire the best didn't I? Besides…" He leaned back into his chair again, "…nothing that doctor does is ever just a myth."

"Tch…" The woman gritted her teeth unamused, until something came to mind that might get them a start somewhere. "That reminds me...I learned that Mishima had the G-Force raid one of the doctor's lab not too long before you got back."

Jin raised an eyebrow, "Really? What for?"

Nina shrugged her shoulders, "Who knows, but it seems like there was only some hard drive data taken and a top secret weapon."

"A weapon? What would he do with…?" Xiao was saying until Nina cut her off.

"I just said I didn't know." The girl slightly narrowed her eyes at the woman.

"A secret weapon huh? It couldn't be that serum right? There's no way he's several steps ahead of us already." Steve thought aloud.

Jin shook his head, "I doubt he knows about the serum, unless the data stolen revealed it." He sighed, "If only we knew what was obtained and what was on his agenda."

Nina thought to herself but it frustrated her to bring it up; an opportunity that was knocking on her door, "Damnit."

"What is it?" All eyes were on her.

She gritted the word out, "Anna."

Steve raised an eyebrow, "Your sister?"

"She…" Nina sighed while running her hand through her hair, "…left me a voice message saying she wanted to get together tomorrow because of some information she had on Kazuya's ace-in-the-hole."

"That's great right? It might be about the weapon." Xiaoyu smiled until she realized that the two men in the room didn't give any reaction.

"Wrong Powder-Puff. The only thing Anna is interested in is either killing me or getting intel for her employer, which at the moment is Kazuya Mishima."

"It's definitely a trap." Steve sighed not surprised.

"Do it."

Suddenly everyone looked in Jin's direction; Nina was a bit surprised though didn't show it, "Excuse me?"

"Trap or not, any information we can get would be useful. Besides…" He gave Nina a slight sly grin, "…if she tries anything, you know how to fight your way out."

Xiao didn't like the idea, "Jin…I don't think…."

"Shut it." Nina spoke. "I don't need you to defend me." The woman looked over at Jin and returned the grin. "Alright, but don't think it won't cost you."

"Never thought otherwise."

{Scene Change}

10:00AM

Nina walked into the café that Anna mentioned in her message and noticed that it was quite busy with customers. If something did happen, there would be a lot of innocent people in the crossfire and she knew that the woman didn't want that. She did what was agreed and came unarmed with no one in tow. Shifting her eyes around briefly, Nina spotted the brunette at the far end of the place, sitting alone at a two-seated table; she made her way over.

"I'm surprised you actually came alone." Nina addressed the woman before she sat in the chair across from her.

Anna turned in her direction and rolled her eyes, "Oh please, as if I need someone's assistance if you tried anything."

"Me?" Nina smirked. "I came unarmed and alone like you asked. Look…" she held out her arms and motioned Anna to look at her attire, "…I'm even wearing skinny jeans and a blouse. No fighting gear."

"Great, no need to be a bitch about it." Anna sighed as she took a sip of her espresso.

"Come now Anna, I'm always a bitch in your eyes." Nina snickered.

"Well, that's true, but we're not here to discuss that right now. So how about we both get rid of the bitches inside of us for the moment."

The tone in Anna's voice sounded sincere, but Nina wasn't going to put her guard down. "Agreed. *sigh* So, what is it that you want?"

"To help the two men we're working for."

"Pfft, please." She couldn't help but let a slight chuckle release from her lips.

"I'm serious! Look, this feud has been going on for far too long and, not to mention, has caused chaos throughout the world on several occasions."

"So what? It's not my problem, neither yours. I'm hired to do my job, just my job, and then get paid."

Anna shook her head, "That's not true. You care and you can deny it all you want, but I know the truth."

Nina snickered, "What's gotten into you oh sister of mine? Oh, don't tell me…you finally slept with him?"

"Wha…who…?" Anna thought about it until an image came to mind causing her face to turn a bright red, "No! What the hell?!" Her outburst caused other customers to look towards their table and Nina chuckled to herself.

"Wow, you must really like him if that made you, of all people, embarrassed."

"I thought we were leaving the bitches out." The brunette gritted through her teeth.

"Yeah, sorry not sorry hehe." Suddenly one of the barista's walked over to their table to take Nina's order and ask if Anna needed anything else. Nina ordered herself a latte and Anna asked for a glass of water.

Once the barista was gone, she sighed, "Don't act like I'm the only one who's changed. That anger and hate inside of you has dwindled a bit, whether you realize it or not." Nina had indeed noticed it, but there was no way she was going to admit to it; not even to herself. "I'm serious Nina." Ugh, that sincerity again; she hated that tone which was so unusual for her sister to have. "I-I admit it I…" Anna's cheeks turned pinkish. "…I do, care a lot about Kazuya. Whenever we went our separate ways two years ago, it pained me…more than I thought it would." She looked out through the window next to their table, "Some people see a monster whenever they look at him and the things he's done; seeing a man hungry for power…not me."

Nina could feel herself becoming uncomfortable because she's never heard Anna speak or open up to her like this; it was a trick, it had to be.
"Oh, and what is it do you see?"

She put a soft smile on her face that reminded Nina of something, "He already has so much power…he's just pained and broken…in need of repair."

"Then you're delusional."

Anna snickered, "Says the one who follows around that boy."

There she was, that remark that only Anna could make, it calmed Nina's nerves a bit, "Say what you will, but I know you have no one's best interests at heart but your own."

"You say that because that's all I've allowed you to see. Though now…something's happened that made me realize that this feud can't keep going on."

"Oh, and what's that?" Nina was starting to become uninterested.

"Zuya's secret weapon. The one he'd stolen from Dr Bosconovitch's lab."

The assassin's ears perked up, interest grasped again, "I heard he stole something of precious value, though I doubt some type of gun or bomb would make you want to up and betray Mishima's trust."

Anna shook her head, "It's nothing like that, that's child's play compared to what he's obtained" She then slipped a yellow envelop from underneath the table and slid it across to Nina.

"What's this supposed to be?"

"Just open it."

The woman sighed as she picked it up, "I swear if a deadly gas or something comes out…" Upon opening it, a few photos and a disc slid out. "…what in the world…" Nina's eyes suddenly widened as she examined one particular picture. "What…what the hell is this?" She looked up at Anna.

"His ace-in-the-hole."

Nina scoffed, "You of all people should know that I'm not a fool to trickery. These were obviously fabricated in one of G-Force's labs."

"What?" Anna became shocked, "The hell they were! I saw the damn thing with my own two eyes!"

"Wait…what did say? The…thing?"

Anna sighed, "Look. That's not the real thing alright, it's an android. Something that crazed doctor built in one of his labs."

Nina looked back at the photo, but still couldn't believe was she was seeing; it looked exactly like that woman, "You have got to be kidding me. What does he plan to do with it?"

"He hasn't said much about it but I'm guessing to use it against Jin." The brunette shrugged her shoulders as the previous barista finally brought their ordered drinks to the table.

Nina gritted her teeth and she knew if Anna wasn't making this up, then Kazuya might just have the upper hand. But Jin…he wasn't that stupid to fall for such a trick right? She thought Mishima was ruthless before but this was just…cruel. "Jin's not an idiot."

"Didn't say he was, but look Nina, if you care anything about him, you would help me stop this once and for all. There's no need for him to suffer emotionally or mentally because of this. I also admit, that I thought being apart of this little game was fun and I got to be next to Kazuya so I didn't care, but this…" She pointed down to the picture, "…this is taking it too far."

Nina narrowed her eyes at her, "Why do you even care, if I were to believe that."

"Because…because of dad." The blonde-assassin's heart dropped as she froze. "How would we feel if someone used a weapon that resembled him in every aspect? Just the thought alone…"

"I'd kill whoever was responsible." She thought aloud without realizing and Anna looked at her a bit shocked. Nina became lost in her thoughts wondering why she would bring up their father and the possibility if she saw someone or something that looked just like him walking around. Or even worse, that imposter attempting to kill either one of them. The thought made her angry, nervous and frustrated along with several other things she hadn't felt in a long time.

"Nina?" Anna's voice snapped her out of her thoughts.

She shook her head and looked at the woman across from her before skimming down at the photos again, "It can't be helped."

"Excuse me?"

"Even with obtaining that damn serum." She took a sip of her latte.

Anna raised an eyebrow, "Serum?"

Nina sighed, "Here's a bit of information for you to even the playing field, or if you want to use it to go along with your ending-the-feud B-S. An unknown force is sapping the devil-gene power from both Jin and Kazuya. Apparently there's a serum that can act like a cure for it."

"Is that what Jin is after?"

"Doubt it, he only mentioned his power draining. I discovered the information regarding the serum a week or so ago."

"And you haven't told him?" Anna looked at her unconvinced.

Nina shrugged, "In due time maybe, but without it this feud would end on its own right. Just like you want?" Anna thought to herself as Nina finished her caffeinated beverage and stood up, "Good luck with…whatever it is you want to do. Next time we meet, let's not do…this."

Anna smirked, "Why, dear sister? Does it make you uncomfortable?" Nina rolled her eyes as she placed a five dollar bill on the table and walked away. Once she exited the establishment Anna gave out a long sigh, "That was agonizing." She then grinned slyly to herself as she couldn't believe that Kazuya's idea of a different approach actually worked. All she had to do was be somewhat honest and open up, then Nina would give her some kind of information regarding Jin. "A serum huh?" There was no way she was going to let Kazuya lose his devil-gene power; She needed to let the man know and soon

A few blocks away….

Nina walked down the street from the café and could only smirk to herself; Anna was still so gullible and fell for her little slip-of-the-tongue information. The information she obtained only confirmed that Kazuya didn't know anything about this serum that Jin's looking for. However, he'll soon be informed, though falsely, only to think it as a way to save his power…heh. "Let the bastard destroy himself if he gets his hands on it before us. In the meantime…" The woman looked at her phone, "…I have other matters to tend to."

{Scene Change}

11:15PM

Nina stood in front of Jin's desk as he looked over a few files and possible leads that would tell them what they needed to know about the serum. She was dressed in her dark violet bodysuit with the matching three-inch heeled boots; hair falling to an inch above her man didn't look up from what he was doing but the woman had been standing there for a while without saying anything,
"How did it go?"

"How you'd expect it go, I suppose."

He looked up at her, "Don't tell me you both destroyed the place?"

Nina sighed as she folded her arms below her chest, "Not this time. She fed me some story about wanting to stop your family feud."

"Whose idea was that?"

"I doubt it was your father's so I'm betting it was all on her."

"What about the weapon?"

Nina had time to think about what she'd say regarding the android if Jin were to ask for any information regarding the initial visit. She didn't want to lie to her employer but she didn't need him running in head first into a battle without proper preparation. "Anna didn't mention much about any weapon, aside the fact that we might have another one of Dr. Bosconovitch's creations on our hands."

Jin thought to himself, "That could only mean something completely out of the box or another android."

"Let's go with the latter."

"Tch…it doesn't matter. I've dealt with the previous ones before, this one can't be any different, if not a little more advanced." He then looked back at her as he stood up from his chair, "Was that all?"

"Well, to play her little game, I fed her some semi-false information regarding a certain serum."

"So she didn't know anything about it?"

"No, which means there's a high possibility that Kazuya doesn't either, like you figured."

"And what false information did you lend to her?"

"That the devil-gene power was being drained from both you and Kazuya and that this serum was the cure to stop it."

"A fallback in-case they get their hands on it first…not how I would've done it but I guess that works just as fine."

Nina rolled her eyes, "Thanks for the criticism."

"Have you taken care of the other matter yet?"

"Headed there now, but I do have something I'd like to ask you before I go."

Jin walked from around his desk while folding his arms across his chest and leaned on it next to her, "What is it?"

"This serum, it's not only just to be used on Kazuya is it." Nina knew from past dealings with Jin that there was always more to the picture than he would lead on.

"That is correct."

"So you're planning to use it on yourself as well right? Without knowing anything about it or the possible side-effects?"

"It doesn't matter, so long as it gets the job done." His voice was so monotone.

Nina snickered as she thought that he still had a lot to learn but maybe he didn't care and maybe she shouldn't either, "Whatever. You're the boss right." She turned away from him and started making her way to the exit.

"Ms. Williams?"

Nina stopped, "What is it?"

"I'm touched by your concern for me, but please don't let it cloud your judgement."

The woman smirked, "Don't mistake my want of payment for my services, for concern of your well-being." She exited the room and Jin couldn't help but pass a slight grin across his face.

{Scene Change}

A darkly dressed figure sneaks around the docks, moving towards the location of a potential target they had been tracking. The harbor was silent and the only thing that could be heard was the wind passing over the water causing it to lightly splash alongside the wooden pillars below. The indicated target wasn't far away and the figure could see the building that happened to be the designated location.

"Jag do you see anything?"

The figure winced a little at the voice that came over the earpiece in their right canal, "Turn the volume level on your communicator down Phoenix."

"Whoops, sorry hehe."

The woman sighed a bit agitated, "I don't see anything yet, but if you placed that tracker on Fox's phone correctly then he should be in the building at the far end of the docks."

"You sure you don't want me out there with ya?"

"No, stay in the car. I just need to know where she is. If I actually knew her exact location, then I would've brought my team."

"Ah..."

Jaguar didn't say anything else as she continued to stealthily make her way to the building her indicator was taking her to. It didn't take long to get there but it seemed a lot smaller in size than she thought it would be. The appearance it gave off reminded her of the look of a garage and entering in through the front was not a option. She skimmed her eyes around and spotted a wooden door on the left-side along with an opened window. The door seemed too obvious and would draw unnecessary attention to that particular spot, especially if the famed boxer wasn't alone; the window was her best bet.

The window was a few feet above the door so the woman figured there was a second level inside which would work to her advantage. A crate laid not too far away and Jaguar took a few steps back as she readied herself to run towards it. It only took her mere seconds to reach it as she took off swiftly and quietly, leaping into the air. She used the front of her foot to land on the top edge of the crate and pushed herself up a few feet. Jag went right through the window, landing softly on a metal ledge as she crouched down. At that level of the building, it was very dark and hard for her to see what was around her. The only light she could make out was from a few hanging lamps that were situated in the center, the bulbs within them so dim one would think they were about to flicker out.

Suddenly she spotted a figure standing just outside the lights' faint illumination and immediately Steve Fox came to Jaguar's mind. Once her eyes finally adjusted to the darkness, she skimmed around again but still couldn't make out anything from where she resided; it was time to move towards the wooden beams that were to her right. Again, she made sure to move carefully, slowly and quietly, positioning her footing as she remained crouched, never taking her eyes off the figure below. Finally, after a few more steps, Jaguar was at an angle where she could make out the figure's position and they were facing away from her direction.

A breeze then made it's way through the window, apparently the only window that the building had, and passed across the hanging lights, moving them slightly in the direction of the one hidden from her; Jaguar slyly grinned. She got a glimpse of blonde colored hair that swayed with the breeze and knew that it had to be her real target…however…her smile slowly faded. The tracker she had used was put on Fox's phone and he was nowhere to be seen. The only presence that had been made known was…

The figure grinned to themselves as they pointed a silenced pistol in the direction of their quiet pursuer. Jag gritted her teeth as she jumped right before the pistol's bullet made impact with the bottom of the beam she resided on. The agent landed in a crouching stance, on the lower level of where she was hiding out.

"You've become sloppy." The figure mocked.

Jaguar stood up, "Says the one who's captured the attention of the CIA."

The figure smirked as they turned around, gun still in hand, "I'm guessing I have you to thank for that, don't I…Rachel."

"It wasn't me…"

"Placing that tracker on Steve's phone was probably your weakest attempt to locate me. Though using a dear friend of his to do it? Heh, looks like you did learn a thing or two from me." The target put their pistol back in it's holster that was wrapped around their right thigh.

"I didn't come here to fight Nina."

The blonde assassin got into her fighting stance, "Let's see if you learned anything else."

Jaguar gritted her teeth as she had no choice but to quickly ready herself because the assassin immediately charged in her direction and jumped in the air before bringing down the heel of her boot that the woman almost failed in blocking. Nina grinned as the raven-haired agent used the force of the attack to push her heel up and off of her. The assassin did a back flip away from her, but as soon as she landed, she dodged a punch thrown by her opponent. She countered it and threw a few punches at Jag who dodged each and every one; Nina couldn't help but grin to herself.

The fight between the two women continued as they each threw punches and kicks that they both were able to dodge. They didn't notice that someone was peeking through a crack at the front entrance; Paul. He couldn't really hear anything but he could somewhat make out that Jag was fighting against the blonde woman she was after. He never saw the woman in full action before and it amazed him. She was holding her own against this renowned assassin and he found it quite attractive, though he'd never tell her that if he valued his life. Paul thought that she might've needed his help, which was the reason why he left the car in the first place, but it seemed like Jag had the situation under control and not to mention that Steve would probably be left alone now. He would just wait the fight out.

Within the following few moments however, Nina had gained the upper hand by speeding up her attacks and the pattern in which she executed them. Jaguar couldn't keep up and her eyes misread the next two attacks that ended up being a kick within her right side with a harder one into the pit of her stomach soon after. The impact sent her flying a few feet away from Nina but she refused to fall back so she got her footing together and by instinct, threw a couple of throwing knives the assassin's way. Nina quickly turned to dodge the weapons, though within the same moment, as the knives passed her, she grabbed ahold of them and threw them immediately back at Jaguar. It wasn't something the agent expected and she dropped to the ground on her back to dodge the knives, but both had fell centimeters away from each side of her head. Before she could make her way onto her feet, Jaguar heard the sound of a gun being cocked. She looked up to only be face to face with the assassin's silenced pistol,
"Still so much to learn."

"Nina…"

"What do you want Rachel?"

"You know how long it took me to find you…?"

"What do you want?" Nina cut her off as she grew impatient.

Jaguar sighed as she slightly looked away from the assassin, "As I mentioned earlier, you've captured the attention of the CIA."

"So what, I have several organizations after me."

"Yes I know, but I still needed to make sure to inform you and…" The woman could feel her chest tighten.

"And what?"

"…I needed to know that you…were okay."

Nina dropped her gun and rubbed her temples with her free hand, "Seriously? This again?!"

Jag quickly turned to her, "What was I supposed to do?!"

"Leave matters alone." The assassin put the gun back in it's holster.

"When I saw your face pop up of the slideshow during one of our meetings last year, I panicked. I knew they'd catch onto you one of these days but…so soon? How could you let this happen, I asked myself? The whole reason why I joined the CIA was so that this didn't happen."

Nina sighed, "Stop speaking nonsense."

"What kind of sister would I be if I didn't keep the promise that I made long ago."

"Go home Rachel." The blonde turned away from her.

"Wait!" Jag got to her feet, "It took me several years to find you and you're just going to walk away from me?"

"I have nothing to say to you." Nina quarter-turned her head to look back at her.

"But I can help!"

"I don't need your help. I've dodged and survived anything these organizations sent my way, there's nothing for you to help with."

Before the woman took another step, Jag's next statement stopped her, "Jin…I wouldn't dare insult your skills with staying out of your enemies' fire, but Jin…I can help you with that."

Nina snickered, "I doubt it."

"The serum…"

Over by the entrance

Paul had been watching the entire time on the edge of his seat, if he were actually sitting down that is, and there were times when he wanted to barge in there and help the agent out. Moments that made him think that the woman was a goner when the assassin bested her, but it seemed like the two were up and discussing something now. The man still couldn't hear what was being said but just when he thought the assassin was about to make her exit, Jag said something that stopped her. Why weren't they fighting still? Was the agent trying to make a deal with the woman in-order to take her in?

Just then, it seemed like both women were about to shake hands, which almost made Paul cheer on the inside for victory, until something unexpected happened. The assassin grabbed ahold of Jaguar's arm and flipped the woman over before sprinting to the other end of the building. He couldn't make out was she was aiming for, but he did see that she dropped something circular and flat not too far from where Jag was laid out on the floor. A small red light started flashing on it which could only mean one thing; a bomb. Paul gritted his teeth as he noticed that Jag didn't get to her feet just yet and he realized he needed to do something…hell, anything!

All of a sudden, he could hear it…though it was faint, he could hear it, the beeping of the device that sped up. He looked over at the agent who just lifted her head, eyes surprised to see that he was looking right at her.
"Jag…?!"
It wasn't long before the words left his mouth that the explosive went off and the entire building went up in flames. The impact of the blast sent him flying back several feet away from the building onto his back. He laid there for a few moments, ears ringing before he came to and blinked his eyes a few times before situating himself upward. Paul watched as the building continued to burn and suddenly Jaguar's face flashed into his head; he just couldn't believe it. He knew no one could survive an explosion like that, but…but…the man couldn't help but ball up his fists in anger. There was no need for Jag to die when she was just trying to do the world some good, but that assassin, the blonde that's supposedly his good friend's mother she...Paul got up to his feet and stared into the flames for any sign of movement, any sign of reassurance that the woman was still alive; there was nothing.

He closed his eyes and sighed as he brought himself to turn around. That woman, she was going to pay and he knew the only way he'd be able to get close enough to do so would be to go after Steve, no matter how much he wished he didn't have to.

Not too far away…

Nina stood on the top of one of the warehouse buildings, looking down at Paul with a smirk on her face. She held a phone to her ear, "It's done."

"And the accomplice?"

"Believe me, he's not going to be a threat." She watched the man as he stormed away from the scene, "But if he tries to interfere again, I'll make sure to take care of him too."

A/N: Alright so we had quite a bit of things that went on in this chapter and questions will be answered in chapters to come. For anyone that was taking a liking to Jaguar, I do apologize and I know a few things she said are probably questionable as to the "why" and "how" but reassured, all will be revealed in due time. (don't mind the particular word choices, I've recently been watching "Sherlock" x-P). So Jin has finally presented his plan (sorry that took awhile), any thoughts on it? Anna, trying to play the "sisterly" role, was it done in a way that agreed with you? Also, what is Paul to do now that there's no Jaguar? Guess he won't be getting that 10 mil huh? Lol I kid, but let's leave it at that and I'll see you all next chapter! ^_^
