Just a short little ScorpiusxLily. I like this pairing, even though i've only read a couple of fanfics with them. Please read the note at the bottom.

"So that's little Scorpius." Ron had said, "Make sure you beat him in every test, Rosie. Thank God you inherited your mother's brains."

"Ron for heaven's sake…"

As Hermione chastised her husband, their youngest niece had glanced over at the blond boy.

"He's quite handsome, isn't he, Rose." She whispered.

Rose raised an eyebrow, looking over to the Malfoys, "He's alright, I suppose. If you like skinny boys with too much hair gel."

They both blushed as Draco Malfoy muttered something to his son, and he looked over at the two girls. Lily smiled shyly before hurrying over to her brothers. Rose just scowled at him.

"-don't get too friendly with him, though, Rosie. Granddad Weasley would never forgive you if you married a pure-blood."

Despite saying this, even Ron had expected Rose and Scorpius to get together by their last year. And, though Rose never mentioned him and Scorpius never said anything when he visited Albus, everyone was sure it would happen soon. Which was why Harry was very surprised when, seven years later, on Christmas day, he opened the door to find a nineteen year old Scorpius Malfoy on his doorstep.

"Oh, Scorpius, I didn't know you were coming, Albus…"

"He's not here to see me." Albus said, nodding at his friend in way of greeting, grinning widely.

A moment later, Lily came crashing down the stairs, throwing her arms around Scorpius when she spotted him standing in the doorway, "You made it!" She cried.

Harry closed the door loudly as Lily pulled the older boy inside without removing her arms from around his neck. As the door slammed shut, they jumped apart, startled.

"Will someone explain what's going on?" Harry demanded.

By this time the rest of the Potters and Weasleys had moved out into the hallway to see what was going on, and - with the exception of Albus, James and Rose - were looking curiously at Lily and Scorpius.

Lily looked annoyed, "What? You told me to invite my boyfriend for Christmas dinner." She gestured to Scorpius, "He's here!"

Harry opened and closed his mouth, searching for something to say, "Boyfriend. He's your boyfriend! How did that happen? Why wasn't I informed? He's three years older than you!"

Lily shrugged, taking Scorpius' hand as he shifted nervously where he stood, "So?"

"They were really close at school." Albus informed his father, "She used to follow him around."

Lily blushed and Scorpius chuckled, smiling down at her.

"Like a little puppy-dog." He laughed, "Followed me everywhere."

"I did not follow you everywhere!" Lily protested, leading him into the living room, "And I stopped that in third year when I went out with Augustus Longbottom."

"So…how did it happen?" Ginny asked curiously, sitting down opposite her daughter.

"Albus and Rose shoved us in a broom cupboard and wouldn't let us out until we kissed." Lily said, scowling at her older brother.

Harry did too, "You did what!"

"We had to. They were getting annoying, with the blushing and the sneaked glances. We had to do something. And it worked, they've been together since Lily's fourth year now."

Harry looked at Albus, then at Rose, then at Scorpius, then closed his eyes, "I'm going to go lie down. And when I wake up, this will all have been a bad dream."

I hate the ending. I was thinking of making this into a proper story but I want to know how many of you like the pairing first. If you like it, I'll stretch it out a bit, possibly a chapter for each year. You'll get a better idea of how they got together …

Tell me what you think :)
