Date: October 1st, 2005
I slowly opened my eyes. It was Monday, first of my favorite month, October. I was about to go back to sleep when my door bursted open
"Get up you little shit!" My abusive second step-father said before walking out of the room. My mother walked into my room once he had left.
"Jade, time to get up." My mother said gently while stroking my aching spine. I always had a stiff back while sleeping. I got up. I threw on my Evanescence teeshirt and ripped jeans. I had a few hours till school started. "I got to go talk to your father so jst relax for awhile, 'kay sweetie?" My mom said. I smiled and nodded. She walked out of the room I was going to start 4th grade in Haddonfeild, Illinois. We have been moving alot since my first step-dad was murdered. I miss him alot. I wish he were here. A silent tear rolled down my face. Little did I know, that I was being watched by my real father, Michael Myers. My mom or step dads never spoke about him. I glanced at the clock, 7:19 it read, i gathered my things and went down stairs.
I qickly grabbed a bagel and ran out of the house and to school.
