The door closed and ten year old Michaelangelo threw himself onto his bed angrily. He tossed the notebook onto the floor.

"Not fair and I won't do it, so there!" He stuck his tongue out at the door his master just exited. " 'Use this hour wisely and make a list of what you will learn from this punishment'" He mimicked Splinter's words in annoyance. "Blah! Stupid brothers. All their fault anyway!"

Mike hated to be confined to his room. He was a free spirit that needed room to roam. After awhile, he started to feel claustrophobic. With a sigh, he turned over and picked up the notebook. He grinned. "I'll tell him what I learned." Mike uncapped the pen and started to write.

What I Have Learned:

By Michaelangelo

1: I learned that it would be better if I was an only child

2: I learned that mixing Donny's pink and blue chemicals causes an orange Raphael

3: I learned that a hard basketball and fragile vase causes lots of glass

4: I learned that not telling anyone about said glass causes Leo to get lots of cuts.

5: I learned that the pounding I got from Leo hurts as much as peroxide on said cuts.

6: I learned that Donatello doesn't like green tea in his hot chocolate.

7: I learned trying to replace stolen green tea with crab grass does not work because Master Splinter isn't fond of "crab grass tea"

8: I learned never to look at the magazines under Raphael's bed.

9: I learned trying to blackmail Raphael about the magazines results in me getting a black eye.

Mike leaned back and looked at his list. That about covers all the trouble he caused that morning. "Oh wait," he said suddenly. "I forgot the most important thing." When Splinter had found out about all the mischief that he had gotten in that day the resulting lecture had been quite stern. Mike had tried to deny some things and put the blame on his brothers. That was when Michaelangelo made his biggest mistake that lead up to his forced confinement.

10: The next time Sensei asks "Do I look like I am foolish enough to believe that?"-----don't answer.
