Another Day

Mai sighed, entering the SPR office, ready for another day of work. She was foolish enough to hope that this day might be different...

Perhaps Naru had fallen in love with her, and was willing to sweep her off her feet, they'd go get married, have a romantic honeymoon, and then they would live happily ever after...

"Mai, tea," Naru uttered the cursed words... crushing Mai's dreams.

'Just another regular day, I guess,' Mai thought. 'Oh well... Maybe tomorrow,' she continued, daring to get her hopes up once more.

Tea

"Mai, tea," Naru said, for the hundredth time that day. After hearing it so much, Mai had grown to hate those words.

"Okay," she replied cheerfully- or at least attempting to sound cheerful. Inside her mind -which Naru was so sure she never used- she was plotting... A plan so evil that it might make Mr. Oliver Davis hate tea... Of course, it would require many foul ingredients, like: toenails, warts, seaweed, and if she was daring enough- poison.

But just like every other time... Mai chickened out and made Naru's tea. Perfectly safe, like always...

Who knows though... maybe some other day.

Lul, anyways~ Sorry for this late minute stuff... it's kinda rushed but they're drabbles (I think). Basically I told myself I would publish something today, in order to thank everyone for their birthday wishes~ SOOo~ in a way this is my birthday fic. I'm now a year older, so happy birthday to me~ C;
