Lil' Tommy looked up from his letter blocks to see Lucy, one of his classmates, running towards him in tears. "What's wrong, Lucy?" he asked, his voice full of concern.

"It's Mikey," she bawled. "He stole my milk again!"

"Darn it," said Tommy, and went off to find his mischievous brother, who had just stashed Lucy's milk behind the whiteboard with the other things he'd stolen.

"Hey Mikey," said Tommy. "What are you playing at, stealing people's milk and suchlike? I'm the hallway monitor now, I can't have my brother misbehaving like this."

"Aw, Tommy," said Michael, "don't you want more milk sometimes? If I steal enough, we can give some to Mom!"

"Mom can buy her own milk like everyone else," said Tommy. "I don't want nothing to do with you anymore."

"We're not so different, you and me," shouted Michael as his brother walked away.

Tommy turned, infuriated at his brother's bad grammar. "You and I," he hissed, "are nothing alike."
