"A beautiful angel sat high above the earth in the clouds, looking down into the depths of Hell. A handsome demon stood on the burning ground of Hell, looking up into the heavens. The angel and demon stared at each other, blue eyes meeting red ones. Their love was forbidden, looked down upon in both realms, so they kept their love a secret. They met at the same time every day at the same spot. Even though a word was never shared between them, their love burned brighter and stronger then any flame in Hell. The angel smiled and blew a kiss to his long distance lover." The story teller stopped talking to blow a kiss to his small audience of two. The two children giggled and waited impatiently for the man to continue."The angel's smile grew when he saw the demon pretend to catch the kiss and put it in his pocket."
"But his smile faded and was replaced with a deep frown. The Demon did the same. They both knew they could never be together, They were from to different worlds. The angel would do anything to be with the one he loved, and he was sure the demon would do the same. If anyone knew of their love, the angel would be kicked out of heaven."
"Oh this is my favorite part!" Exclaimed the one little girl in the room. Her brother elbowed her."Hush! Let him finish!" He scolded, putting a tiny finger to his lips.
The story teller chuckled and continued his tale." 'That's it!' Said the angel, suddenly fulled with angel ran back into the kingdom of heaven. Once he reached the center of the great kingdom, he screamed about how he was in love with a demon, telling everyone about his secret love."
The girl giggled and was once again shushed by her brother.
"By the end of the day, the angel was banished and sent to Hell and surely enough the demon was there waiting for him."
"And they lived happily ever after." Said a foreign voice. British to be exact. Everyone turned their attention to the new addition to the group. A thin blond man stood at the door, leaning against the door frame with his arms crossed. He smiled warmly and walked over to the two children and sat down on the floor with them.
"Daddy!" The girl said, jumping onto her feet and wrapping her small arms around her fathers neck. The little boy soon followed. Pip wrapped his arms around his children and smiled at his husband. Damien smiled back, getting off from the couch and sitting on the floor with the rest of his family. The little girl got off of Pip and jumped into her other father's arms.
"You shouldn't be this excited before bed, Lucy." Pip sternly scolded her.
"But daddy! I'm not sleepy!" Lucy whined.
Damien chuckled and rubbed her back. "Sorry sweetheart, it's getting late." He said while standing up, still holding his daughter and carried her too her room, dispite her protest. Pip did the same with their son, Adrian, but with much less trouble. Adrian was always the well behaved one.
After putting the twins to bed, Pip and Damien cuddled together on the couch.
"When are we going to tell them that the story was about us?" Pip asked Damien.
"Someday, when their older." He responded, bring his angel closer for a kiss.
