"Katie!" I heard a voice cry out "Katie!"

"Oh, Cleo, Lexxi, it's you" I said disappointed.

"Ha!" Lexxi laughed "you were wishing we were Travis, weren't you?"

"N-"I started but was cut off.

"Hay Gardner" A voice said behind me

And for the first time in weeks I screamed. Cleo put her hand over my mouth.

"Shhh, Katie!" She whispered "It's just Travis!"

"Anyways" Travis said "I was wondering what class you people have after lunch"

"Science" Lexxi yelled "my FAVORITE!"

"History" Cleo mumbled "NOT my favorite,"

"Math" I replied

Travis smiled, not a good sign.

"I've got math too"

Oh no.

"Ok class" Mr. Bryan said in his boring tone "we've got a new kid in the class, his name is Travis."

"Hi everyone"

"Ok Mr. Stole, you can sit next to Miss Gardner"

'Oh great' I thought 'just my luck'

"Hay, Gardner"

"Leave me alone, Travis"

"Ok, ok"

Then thankfully he left me alone. I tuned out Mr. Bryan and started doodling. At first I didn't know what it what it was, but then I noticed it was a tree with leaves falling off.

"Nice picture, Gardner"…..Travis

"Miss Gardner?" Mr. Bryan called on me. Realizing it was a math problem, I looked at the board. The numbers started to swirl which were caused by my dyslexia but I saw the problem.

"4?" I asked

"Yes very good class dismissed"

By the time I was in my dorm that I shared with Lexxi and Cleo, I was half asleep. I took of my uniform and put on pajamas.

Finally! Peace!

Knock, knock, knock!

There goes the peace.

When I opened the door I was surprised. It was Travis!

"What do you want Travis?" I hissed

"Wow Gardner, do you ever cut back on the venom?"

I glared at him. Did he have to interrupt my peace?

"Anyways, there is a test on Friday for math and in class it looked like you knew it really well" He said rubbing his neck making him look confused.

He's cute when he's confused…..WAIT NO! I did not just say that!

"You want me to tutor you in math?" I asked

"Yes" He said looking serious

"Ok, we can try that" then I closed the door in his face.
