A/N: Based on the manga, where they don't win the Grand Prix, and Ichigo and Kashino end up in Salon de Marie. Starts year by year, then skips around. Kind depressing in the end...

They met at age 14. She was completely naïve, and he was probably a little too jaded for his own good. Very shortly after their first meeting, he ended up yelling at her. Despite this, she grew on him very quickly. She thought of him as a bit of a sadist most of the time (and really, you can't say she was wrong), but generally her opinion of him changed for the better.
By age 15, they were both working in Salon de Marie. Being together even more often than they were as teammates slowly made her question just how she felt about him. At 16, she finally realized. On his 17th birthday, she pulled him aside and confessed. He blushed, averted his eyes, and told her the same thing she had told him seconds before.
They graduated at 18, and promptly moved in together. The gesture surprised their friends and family, as the couple tended to be much more subtle. Just a year later, they had managed to turn a small patisserie into a thriving business. The Christmas they were both 21, he surprised her by proposing. By the next year they were married; The cake was a gorgeous chocolate and strawberry concoction created by their best friends.
At 28, they had their first child. The fact that the usually woman-hating Kashino now had a daughter was too much for Hanabusa and Andou to handle; They didn't let him hear the end of it when three years after that, their next "child" in fact turned out to be twin girls.
Their daughters eventually grew up and left home. The oldest ironically went on to become a doctor, working with her father's older sister, the twins both went down the same route their parents did, both studying at St. Marie's and then helping with, and eventually taking over, their parent's patisserie.
Sadly, the sands of time come for everyone eventually, but as in the case of many loving elderly couples, the sands were kind to this one in particular and took them only days apart.
