Lovingly

Yusei was fixing up his duel runner in the garage all alone with Akiza. Yusei was showing her how to do things to the duel runner. She was supposed to be listening and learning but she was too busy paying her attention to Yusei.

"Was there anything else you would like to know, Akiza?" Yusei questioned his friend as he turned his head to look at her. Akiza blinked a few times before blushing just a little.

"Huh? Oh. Well no. I mean, yes," Akiza nodded. Yusei sat up straighter and wiped his hands on his jeans.

"Ask away," Yusei told her in a very friendly tone. He was still smiling at her. He was glad to be showing Akiza how to do some stuff. She was his friend after all.

"Have you ever loved someone?" Akiza questioned.

"I loved my parents. I also love my friends. We're like a family, Akiza," Yusei told her as he took a seat next to her. Akiza felt more heat rush up to her cheeks and swallowed.

"That's not what I meant, Yusei," Akiza told him. Yusei turned to look at her in bafflement.

"Then what are you talking about, Akiza?" He asked her.

"I meant the other love," Akiza answered. Yusei stared at her for a very long moment before responding.

"I don't know," Yusei replied honestly. Akiza looked at him and suddenly gently placed her hand on his cheek. Yusei was very surprised and didn't know what was going on.

"Yusei, this may seem very uncharacteristic of me but…" Akzia leaned forward towards him. Yusei's eyes widened.

"Akiza, what're you-

Akiza gently captured his lips with hers. She deepened it and started running her fingers through his hair. She felt Yusei start kissing her back and wrapping his arms around her waist. Akiza started to feel all giddy when he did this.

After another moment they broke apart and Akiza couldn't stop smiling at Yusei. Yusei was staring at her with a small smile on his face. "I've never been kissed before," Yusei told her truthfully. Akiza rested her head on his shoulder.

"Yusei, I'm glad that I am your first kiss and I am even gladder that you have returned it," Akiza told him quietly and in a loving voice. Yusei was surprised at how much emotion he saw in her eyes and heard in her voice. This emotion he saw and heard was love and it was very strong.

"Akiza…" Yusei whispered. He didn't know if he felt the same way about her. He did feel something though. But he wasn't sure yet. But he knew that he would feel exactly the same about her if they spend more time together.

"Yusei, I love you," Akiza told him in a very sincere and honest tone. She wasn't lying one bit. Yusei felt his heart flutter after she had said this. Yusei slowly and gently ran his gloved fingers through her hair.

"Akiza I-

Akiza cut him off by kissing his lips softly and pulling back. "I know you might not love me as much as I love you…but I still love you, Yusei. And I know that you need some more time for your love for me to grow stronger," Akiza told him softly.

"Thank you for overstanding, Akiza," Yusei gave her a gentle and very caring smile. He then kissed her lips and then her cheek. After that he kissed her lips again. Akiza returned it lovingly.
