Rockman ran to the right, shot Blader in the face for 500 points and fell down a hole.
"Dammit," cursed Rockman as he respawned at the start of the level. "Why is it so frickin' hard? That does it, I'm through." He sat down on the floor, determined to stay right where he was.
Blader, who had also respawned, buzzed over to him. "Hey, Rock. Why so down?"
"I'm just sick of it," said Rockman. "Things were so much simpler when I was a lab assistant."
"Yeah, man, but back then you were just a puppet," said Blader sternly. "You were built to serve. Now you can run free, shooting stuff and all that jazz."
"Wow, you're right!" shouted Rockman, jumping to his feet and shooting Blader in the face again. "Thanks, Blader!"
"It was in your heart all along, lil' blue dude," said Blader as he died. "Go chase that rainbow..."
