It's just like nothing ever happened.
Olivia Dunham was glad to be back in her own skin after all this time. She was a red head again. The clothes was definitely more comfortable at home. Pretty soon she would be back at work and get back to her normal life. From everyone's perspective, she had been here the whole time.
It's like Lincoln said, just like nothing ever happened.
But things were not quite the same.
Astrid was right. Colonel Broyles was a creature of habit. He would never have abandoned his post.
Olivia hung up having finished talking to Diane Broyles. She said he had a decision to make and that it wasn't going to be an easy choice. He feared war was coming.
Olivia reviewed surveillance footage on Broyles for the last week. There was nothing remarkable except for one. The last entry was from the holding facility at Liberty Island. She looked up from her desk to make sure no one could see her review the video log.
It was the last time anyone saw Broyles alone with the other Olivia Dunham. There was no audio but she could see the pleading in the woman's eyes. It's clear that this was the difficult decision Broyles was faced with.
People just do not disappear. If someone as important as the Colonel could be eliminated, what fate awaited her? All of a sudden, she didn't know who to trust anymore. Whether it's one life or billions of lives, no one can be safe if they stood against the Secretary.
She needed to tell someone the truth, but who would believer her?
"Hey Charlie."
