Busted!
A/N: I don't own them, just manipulate them! :]
"Pepper Potts, are you watching what I think you're watching?"
Thoroughly startled and mortified Pepper quickly snapped her laptop shut. She clutched her Mac to her chest as she looked over her shoulder to see Tony kneeling behind the couch she was currently sitting on. Her heart had pounding and a flush of embarrassment colored her face to the color of cherry red.
"NO!"
"You can't fool me, Pepper!" Tony grinned lecherously. "And during office hours too? Naughty girl." At this Pepper's face grew even redder if it was possible. She shook her head not trusting her voice if she were to open her mouth.
"You were weren't you?" He whispered into her ear. He rose from behind her and came around to sit on the glass coffee table directly in front of her. His grin grew bigger when he took in the color of her skin.
"And here you were saying for years that taking pleasure in watching it would be and I quote, 'A debasement to my life' end quote." His eyes bored into her taking absolute please in her loss of defense against her actions.
Pepper gapped openly like a goldfish out of water.
"Face it Potts, you're just human. It's okay to like watching it." He patted her knee as though she were a smile child having a moral dilemma.
Still no sound erupted from Pepper, save a small squeak. Tony found her lack of voice utterly amusing, but felt he had teased her enough for at least the day. Tomorrow and every day after he would never let her live this day down. Slapping his thighs he lifted himself off of the table and walked back downstairs towards his garage. Pepper turned her head to follow his movements still being a non verbal gaping fish. Stopping at the stairs he called to her, "Just so you know Pepper, I think it's hot!" He whistled a melody less tune and then disappeared back to his man cave.
Pepper huffed loudly and put her laptop back on the coffee table and powered it back up. As soon as it sprung back to life Pepper sat back on the couch and grinned madly. She held up the discarded DVD case that lay innocently enough on other side of the couch and hummed in satisfaction. The opening theme song of "Sex and the City" filled the empty living room and Pepper once again immersed herself in her long hidden guilty pleasure of watching the tumultuous love/hate relationship between Carrie and Mr. Big.
