Hey guys, this is another Naruto story, this time about Sakura's thoughts on how everything has changed. Kind of NaruSaku, but you don't have to take it that way if you don't want to. Anyway tell me what you think and...REVIEW^_^
In an amazing world, filled with war and peace. A world purged by ninja kind, and five different countries. Fire, Wind, Water, Earth, and Lightning; theses are not only the different chakra natures, they are also the different countries. In this vast and dangerous land, there exists a young man. One whose life has been filled with betrayal and hatred, but also love and kindness. This young man has and will face many challenges in the future.
This young man is none other than-
Snore "Sakura-Chan…Sasuke…hehe, Kakashi-Sensei…wait, wait for me…"Snore
"Naruto…another dream about team 7, huh?" Sakura, a familiar pink haired konochi and long time friend of Naruto, spoke.
"Heh, let him dream Sakura, he deserves it," Kakashi, the leader of squad 7 responded to her remark.
Team Kakashi had just finished up a quest dealing with a couple of rouge ninja in the vicinity of Konaha, and were taking a carriage back home. This is when Naruto drifted off into dreams of old when squad 7 used to be complete.
"Hehe, Sakura-Chan…Sasuke is waiting for us, let's…hurry," he talked in his sleep once again.
"Naruto…" she looked down at the young man dreaming away.
I wonder what he's dreaming about. Maybe about the time we helped protect the builder of the Great Naruto Bridge…Or maybe the Chunnin Exams…Or-
"Sakura, is something wrong?" Kakashi spoke up.
"Huh? Oh no, nothing" she answered.
No nothing was wrong; in fact this was one of the few moments she enjoyed. When they could ride quietly together, just enjoying one another's company. When she felt closed to Naruto, when she understood him completely. When they were thinking about him.
"Sakura-Chan, be careful, you almost hit me…" He said.
She laughed, yep, good old Naruto…He would never change; yet he was different. Or maybe, she was different. No, they both were different. Even though Sasuke leaving left a hole in their hearts, it had been replaced. Yes, it was replaced by something different; a new bond, one between her and Naruto. It was something she never felt before. She knew that she loved Sasuke, yet…for some reason, she didn't feel the pain anymore. It was replaced by-
"Sakura…Chan…"
Yes, that was it…It was replaced by him, the one who was always by her side through thick and thin. No matter how badly she treated him, or how much she rejected him… He was there, and he always would be.
I wonder if Sasuke were here, what would he say about Naruto and me now?
For all of them had changed. Just like how the seasons and the wind change, they had too. She wondered if it was for better or worse…but she was certain about one thing. As long as Naruto didn't give up on him, neither would she. Much like he did for her, she would follow him to the gates of hell and back again. It wasn't so much as she felt she owed him that…no, it was that she wanted to. She wanted to go anywhere he went; and she would.
Naruto…You're right, he's waiting for us…
