Disclaimer: don't own wowp, but again, poem is mine.

Repulsion.

That's the answer to your unspoken question.

That's what is taking up all your attention.

You choke each time you breathe in this air of tension.

The two of you are being pulled in opposite directions.

Likes repel each other. Two North Poles of a magnet, on coming too close, repel each other and are thrown far away.

That's exactly what happened to them.

They had no idea they were this similar. He was the dorky annoying Mr. Perfect. She was the mischievous devious Miss I-was-born-to-break-the-rules. But they were from the same family, had the same parents, the same surname- the same blood.

And blood repels.

Slap, slap and slap. That was the definition of their relationship. Retort and counter-retort. Every word dipped in sarcasm, mockery, and coated with a smirk or smug grin. Every sentence spoken between them playful and meaningless.

And now it was changing. Fast.

Her heart pounded against her chest each time his breath tickled her cheeks. And it was bad. Really bad.

"Are you alright?" he whispered, gently stroking her hair.

"I'm scared", she confessed, turning around and putting her arms around him.

Honestly, he wasn't fearless either. And not just because of the fact that they may disappear the next day- but also because of their vulnerability due to fleeting memories. And being vulnerable was not a good thing when they were alone in the middle of a rain forest. They would have ended up a certain way- if they weren't siblings.

If their blood didn't repel.

They turned to their sides, his back facing hers, slowing their eyes tightly against this repulsing reality, and waking up just the same way.

You come too close.

Your hearts swell.

A single touch.

And blood repels.

"I want everything to be exactly the way it was." -Nothing was ever the same again.

His words choked her, her gaze blinded him. They had gotten too close. Way too close. And now it was time for the repulsion.

Fighting, bickering, turning the whole school against her, never helping her out of trouble anymore, no more long hugs, nothing. Insulting him, taunting him, pulling pranks on him, playing practical jokes, making his life miserable in every possible way. It's like everything changed, everything was different, something was missing and yet no one could point a finger at it.

Because when they were in the same room, blood repelled.

And this repulsion was tearing them apart.

(A/N: Yeah I know this wasn't great. Just a random idea to explain the change in characters in season 3 that *I* found sudden. Reviews make me happy.)
