Gabe woke up to an awful stomach ache and a feeling like he just got out of a coma…a turkey coma. It was the day after Thanksgiving, and of course leave it to the guy who intestinal problems as a kid to have a stomach ache. He felt like he was gonna explode as he uncomfortably made his way downstairs for the morning.

But he wasn't greeted by the same smell of food cooking (not like he would've eaten anyway) or his mother smiling at him. He wondered what could've been going on…until he heard the faint sound of someone humming a Christmas carol from the living room. Oh God… he thought running into the living room. There was his mother alright, putting up the Christmas tree, hanging decorations everywhere.

"Mom…" he started off, incredibly annoyed. He wasn't one for starting Christmas festivities this early. "What are you doing?"

"Getting ready for Christmas…" she said simply.

"But it's…November, Mom."

"So? You can never start too early!"

"Yes you can…like now."

"You sound just like your father…" She rolled her eyes at him, rushing over towards the doorway he stood under to hang some mistletoe.

He looked up at her blankly. "Mistletoe? Seriously? Who's in this house that's gonna need mistle…" But then he came to realization. "Oh, no! No! You're taking that down RIGHT NOW!"

She came down from the little step stool she had climbed up on, and turned towards him, smiling like an idiot. "Your sister's in love…"

"Uh, not with that creep!"

"Why don't you like him? He's a lovely boy…"

"He's going out with my little sister. I caught them making out in the hallway." He just grabbed onto his mother's shoulder's making sure she got his point. "His tongue was down her throat!"

"What about Henry's tongue?" Natalie's voice rang from behind him.

He looked a bit stunned as he stuttered, "How did you-?"

"I can just tell whenever you're ranting about something, it's usually about him."

He just shrugged satisfied with the answer. He looked up at the recently hung decorations and just pointed out, annoyed already, "Mistletoe…"

"Eew!" Natalie squealed. "Incest much?"

"Uh, not what I meant…I was going for more along the lines of an annoyed 'can you actually believe it's November 26th and it's already Christmas in our house' type of thing."

"Oh…" she just looked around the room, her face showing no real emotion. "I don't see a problem with it."

"WHY DON'T YOU SEE A PROBLEM WITH IT?"

"Christmas is in less than a month, asshole. Get with the program!"

He just shook his head, raising his arms in defeat. "Ok…fine. You guys can be brainwashed with holiday decorations and corny Christmas specials, but me? I'm going to grab a bottle of Tums, go upstairs and sleep. Ok? Goodbye!"

And with that he ran out of the room, leaving both a stunned and slightly confused Natalie and Diana in the living room.

"Wow." Natalie began. "He's officially hit the brink of insanity."

The two of them just shrugged it off, but not until Natalie remembered what she was going to ask earlier.

"Uh, Mom? Why is there mistletoe there anyway?"

She just smiled deviously, "No reason…"

A/N: hehe…I love messing with Gabe…it's fun.
