A seddie Christmas story
Sam Pucket was sitting in her room on Christmas Eve. She wanted to be at Carly's but she was in Yakima with her Granddad. Would Sam want to do regular Christmas things on Christmas Eve? Yes but is she? No. Her mom had changed since therapy but she couldn't hold it together for the holidays. Why? At this time eight years ago Sam's father was shot on Christmas.
"Samantha Pucket open up" Pam shouted. Sam groaned and unlocked her door to find her tipsy mother standing with her boyfriend of the week. "Sam, Ron and I are going to Vegas to elope."
"But you can't" Sam tried to say before her mother headed for the door.
"Go to Carly's or something" was the last thing she yelled before driving off to Vegas. Sam couldn't control herself. She punched through a wall in her room as a tear rolled down her cheek which made her even madder because Sam doesn't cry.
Once she calmed down she decided to head to Bushwell plaza. It was pouring rain but she ran anyway. By the time she made it to Bushwell she was soaking wet. "Hey your traking water in my lobby" the scrooge Lewbert shouted while plucking the hairs off his wart. Sam just ignored him while taking the elevator to the eight floor. She triedto pick the lock but spencer had installed a lock that couldn't be picked.
"Ugh" she cried out as another tear slipped down her cheek. She heard a door open behind her as she bent over to pick up her wire she through on the ground in frustration.
"Sam?" She heard a familiar voice sleepily say. "What are you doing here?"
"W-What's it to you n-n-nub" She replied cursing at herself silently for stuttering.
"Are you okay? Is anything wrong?" A sleepy Freddie asked. Sam could only shake her head yes as the tears started coming again. "Sam will you come with me" Freddie said not asked pulling her inside. He covered her mouth before she could protest and dragged her to the fire escape.
"What are you doing?" She asked as he let her go.
"You need someone to talk to and this is the only place my mom doesn't have under video surveillance." He said "So what is it?"
"My mom's eloping" Freddie gave her a look and she continued "My dad died exactly eight years ago and I miss him a lot. We were really close and I don't want a new dad" She finished her voice cracking.
Freddie could tell Sam was trying not to cry. "Look Sam, no matter what happens I'll always be here for you"
"You don't mean that nub" Sam said kind of bitterly.
"Oh ya?" Freddie asked before kissing her in the same spot as their first kiss almost 2 years ago. Sam was shocked when their lips first met but began kissing back when she felt the sparks.
When they pulled back Sam said "Merry Christmas nub."
Freddie smiled and said " Happy Holidays Sam-Jerk" Before kissing her again.
