A/N: I know I shouldn't make chapters like this, but as it's been a very long time and I've all but forgotten what I was doing with this story, would anyone left be at all interested if I rewrote and revamped this story? And instead of just using Fatal frame 2 and p3p, I've found ideas for a mix with adding Fatal Frame 3 and hints of Catherine and Fatal Frame 1. And who knows, maybe IT and the phantom thieves will make appearances. Just depends how the story goes.

Now the reason I'm adding this chapter truly is to alert people of the new story because I won't be posting it on here as additional chapters since already the first chapter will be different, plus the prologue will be omitted since I just don't care for it and think it throws off the flow. I'd be making a whole new story so this one'll still be up, but I'll obviously be making the new one a brand new one just labeled Crimson Sacrifice Revamped or remade. Something like that. It'll still be on though since I don't have a ao3 account yet.

This is also an apology for never finishing Crimson Sacrifice so I apologize but I hope you like the revamp, and perhaps even enjoy it more. I hope hope HOPE to start on the first chapter tomorrow but we'll see if adhd will let me.
