"Dude, I never thought I'd live to see this day."

"I never thought he'd live to see this day."

"You have to admit, it was a nice ceremony."

"Followed by a reception where the bride had to apologize to everyone she'd stress punched over the course of the last week."

"I totally thought Jolene was going to strangle her with her own ponytail when Aisha hit her. Almost makes me wish they had thrown down."

Cougar grunted his agreement with that statement, the only attempt he'd made to join in the conversation Jensen and Pooch were having. The three of them were positioned by the bar, knowing it was a prime position to watch for any and all fights that might break out.

And face it, with the sort of people they hung out with, a fight wasn't as much a possibility as it was probable.

Across the room, Aisha and Clay, newly married were glaring at each other over the top of their cake, clearly at a stalemate over who would cut the cake.

"Shoulda gone with the cake made of cupcakes," Pooch mused, knowing the night would more than likely end in bloodshed. "I know the boss loves her, but what was he thinking?"

Sipping from his violently pink cocktail, Jensen tipped his head to the side and said, "I think he knew she was the one the night she choked out that bouncer with the strap of her purse."

"Either that or when she started putting glow stick necklaces on us so we'd be easier to find when we wander off into the woods while drunk."

"Love," Cougar mused, "Is a funny thing."

Especially, if you were a Loser.
