The Shakespear Challenge for The Hogwarts online fourm. Quote I used:

Portia: He doth nothing but talk about his Hippogriff. – The Merchant of Venice.

She has had it. Lucius walked into her office and started going on about her blood status.

Again.

She glared at her work.

When was he ever going to stop?

"You see Minister, Miss Granger here can not appeal to these challenges as-"

"As I am what?" Hermione retorted, as she turned round to face him.

Lucius and the Minister turned round to face an angry Hermione.

Lucius mouth quivered and turned into a smirk.

"If you would of kindly not interrupted Miss Granger, then I would believe you would hear what I would of said. Do you want to hear what I am going to say Miss Granger? Or can you keep your mouth shut like you normally do?"

The Minister eyes went back and forth between the two and he edge slowly towards the door.

Hermione stood up to him.

"I had it! Every single day as I come into work, all I hear is you whining all about how I am useless and-"

"Well, if you weren't here there wouldn't be such a fuss would there?"

Hermione nostrils flared and her eyes narrowed.

"All I hear is you talking about me being a dirty Mudblood-" The Minister flinched at the word. " And How I am superior to everyone else and how-"

"Well, it's true! You come into the Minister like you own the place!"

"In which I do not Lucius! You are my work partner and therefore you should treat me with some respect at least!" She protested.

Lucius scowled.

"As if. Not after what you and your little friends did." He snarled.

Hermione shook her head and laughed.

"You dare talk to me about my friends? You dare? They never cared for me Lucius! Never."

"Then why were you with them for years on end?" He asked.

"Because they were the only friends I had! Now I realize who my true friends are," she gave a nod to a photo on her desk, which showed a picture of her, Luna and Draco smiling at the camera.

"Draco?" Lucius snarled.

"Yes, Draco. He never wanted to be a Death Eater did you know?" She tilted her head and Lucius eyes shimmered. The Minister staying silent completely forgot ten by the other two.

"I take it as a No. Please Lucius give me a chance! I have had a chance with Draco please let me have a chance with you-"

"No,"

"Lucius-"

"I said No. Not what happened after Narcissa."

There was a pause.

"I didn't have anything to do with that and you know it. Narcissa was a good woman and a kind woman so don't blame it on me-"

"But you could off stopped them! You could of stopped Harry and Ron!" Lucius protested, slamming his fists on her desk, making her jump and papers scattered everywhere.

"How could I've stopped them Lucius? How could I've stopped them when I knew nothing about it! If I knew something, then I would of done something to stop them! But the main thing is, they are both in Azkaban for good." She nodded her head at the end of the word good and folded her arms.

Lucius sighed and pinched his nose as though he smelt something bad and he inhaled deeply.

"But you still-"

"Oh for gods sake the both of you! You both argue like an old married couple! Lucius you doth nothing but talk about his Hippogriff all the time! Now both of you make up now before I will send an army of Hippogriffs towards you and see how they argue!" The Minister shouted and with that he slammed the door shut and Hermione and Lucius both looked at each other bewildered.

"That..was unexpected." Lucius coughed.

"Well, we were arguing like a pair of Hippogriffs." She smiled.
