Hey. Sorry that I sorta…haven't continued with this thing…I didn't have the inspiration. But I've decided, I don't want a whole new story. I just want a better finish. So, sit back, enjoy, and hopefully you won't hate my way of putting thme back together.
Gregor couldn't fall back asleep. Ares was with him, and Gregor wanted to stay awake a while longer to reflect on it.
Not even thinking about where he was going, Gregor slowly walked outside. It was in the middle of the night, in New York. Bad idea, but he still did it.
Before he knew it, he was in the middle of the park, sitting by the gateway to a world he ould never forget.
A world that contained a certain girl.
A girl he couldn't forget.
Luxa never did what she had been told. She had proved it again and again, after all, she couldn't let down her image.
So, she snuck out of the castle. Out of her Queen's quarters, and was sitting on the staircase. She breathed in and out, arms crossed over her knees and her face buried in it. She could feel the hot breath on her arms, and it was comforting.
But not comforting enough.
"Gregor," she breathed softly.
Sitting with his head between his knees, Gregor wondered why he was still there. Shouldn't he go back? Maybe even pry off the cover? He looked down, and realized he had brought a crowbar*. He did a lot of things unconciously these days. He wasn't entirely…entirely there.
Then he heard somethng, a breath, a word.
But mostly the voice.
Crowbar in hand, he began to take off the cover.
She looked up, and heard a creaking. A crack of moonlight.
Could it be Gregor?
She looked up, full of hope. Not waiting too long, she too began pushing the heavy barrier out of the way.
Was it him?
Yes.
Gregor was grunting a little under his breath, it was heavier than he remembered.
But then it grew lighter, apparetnly someone underneath was helping.
A sliver of moonlight slipped through the opening.
A face appeared.
Luxa.
He stopped for a moment, just looking at her. No different than she was a month ago.
Gregor moved the top away like it was nothing.
He put his hand down, and let her hold on.
He pulled her up.
"Hey," he said softly.
There was silence.
Pulled into a kiss.
"I missed you," Luxa whispered.
What's this?
"You missed a lot," Gregor thought to Ares.
