This is my eleventh chapter of The Fox and the Hound.

Pairings: Todd/Copper, Chief/Cash, Waylon/Floyd (Slash)

Rated: K

Chief was walking alongside the rest of the strays as they had just finished up their little show. "You were amazing, I didn't know you could go that high" Waylon complimented on his performance.

"Yeah, you got the lungs of a real horse" His brother said. Cash was stared at his boyfriend with a smile on his face "He really is amazing" He thought then walked on ahead to the outside and sat down on the side, waiting.

Even Granny Smith was praising the Irish Wolfhound "A fine pair of lungs you got there" She said before going to check on how Dixie is doing. Waylon and Floyd were still with the talented dog until each felt the need to go and roll around in a nice patch of green grass.

Chief was left alone now, but walked on out to find his mate. "Chief, over here" Cash whispered after the Wolfhound looked around then faced him. "Cash" he walked to him thinking that it must've been very important.

"Chief, I want to congratulate you on your first performance" He said sweetly. "Thanks, I wasn't expecting to be apart of a band of strays" He said laughing at himself. "Well, I bet you didn't even expect to have the leader to be your mate now did ya? Cash said as a follow-up.

"Humph, guess I didn't" Cash went up to him and gone in for a surprising kiss then parted" Chief blushed "Was that your way of congratulating me? "Maybe" he walked passed him, but turned his head back "or it could be because I just love you so much.

The Wolfhound felt like he was being seriously seduced, but before he could assume, Cash walked to the other side and slid in a nuzzle under his rugged chin which he thoroughly enjoyed.

He loved his tough of his fur, it turned Chief into a naughty dog "So, is there anything you wanna do? He asked sexually. Cash thought after pulling his head from under Chief "We could sit and looked at the moon" He had a suggestion, but failed to know that it's still daylight out.

Chief looked at him and raised an eyebrow "What, you have a better idea? Cash playfully argued. the Wolfhound snickered and gave him a clue by licked the length of his left side.

"Oh" he watched as his mate walked to the abandoned bus" Cashed grunted romantically before walking to the bus, knowing what he wanted to do and it very much piqued his interest to the point where he was giddy.

Granny Smith was heading to Dixie until she looked at what seemed to be Zelda comforting her best friend. She thought "better then what Cash would've done. She left the two cause Zelda looks like she had everything under control.

The old dog was taking a stroll outside the barn to be alone for a while "So much revelation and in one night! First, Cash and that Hound got together then Waylon and Floyd, and now Dixie and Zelda, Huh, what's next? She snapped cause she had no one else to talk to cause they were all busy.

"Why dose it have to be hard, maybe it's matchmaking season" She pounded the side of her head. She shook her head and just continued walking farther away from the barn until she had stopped by a big tree, sat down and sighed.

I need a sign, someone to talk to and have a laugh with" She wished then it was quickly granted when she heard crying from afar. "What in tarnation? She got on up and followed the sound, it was getting clear to where it was coming from "the forest" She said.

Shortly, she was still on the trail of the direction of the weeping. Stepping into the dim forest where there was little light "darn light, I can't see a thing" She tried to use her nose, hoping it still works after all the aging.

Vixey was crying in the pond while the tears create ripples "What am I gonna do now? She said through her tears. Suddenly she heard rattling in the bushes and realized that she's being watched when she looked over to her left "who's there? She sniffed up her sorrow, got up to investigate then as she walked closer, a pair of eyes became visible.

"EEP! She was terrified that she fell back on the grass and the creature stepped into the light "Oh, I hope I didn't scare you dearie" The dog said, know she scared her half to death. The vixen panted, but calmed down.

"Please don't hurt me" She shacked in fear. "Hurt you, why would I do that? The dog said stepping close to her. Granny Smith sensed how afraid she was and kindly introduced herself as the first step to get her to relax.

Vixey now knew that the dog can be trusted and introduced herself. "Don't worry, no need to be afraid" She gain her trust and the fox had slowly gotton up from the grass.

"Now tell me, what is a fox doing out here all by herself? "Wouldn't you like to know" Vixey said in a angry tone while going back to grief her paid over the pond. "Maybe I can help if you tell me" Granny walked up and sat next to her.

The fox concealed her pain cause it was too painful to bare, but looked at the dog who was listening so turned back to the pond and took a deep breath."My so-called "mate" just dumped me for his former friend...after everything I did for him, he goes and stabs me in the back! She help back her tears

"Hmph! Typical men! One minute, that they say they love you, the next minute, they go and find someone else to fool around with" She said, having exparence in her younger days

"I bet when Todd treated me fairly, he was really looking for someone more affectionate" She said, seeing that how stupidly blind she was. Granny put an arm around her "I hear ya, but sounds like he didn't respect you" She guessed.

The fox gone into disappointment "Aww, don't be sad...I'll keep you company" She said, thinking that it'll be good for both of them since they were both alone without anyone to talk too.

Vixey looked at her and smiled "Absolutely, we can be friends" She felt like this would be just what she needed after the break-up, a girls night.

Requested by ClassicTVfan15, I just changed it to make more sense, trust me when I said I'm a master at telling stories, but I very much appreciate the requests so keep them coming.

Chief and Cash just can't keep their paws off of each other and can you really blame them though? Next will be about the twin brothers feat. the two hounds.

I see Granny and Vixey in more of a friendship pairing rather then a romantic one.
