Just a little one-shot that I was inspired to write this after Chuck and Blair's final scene in 4x07 "War at the Roses" I hope you all enjoy it, and reviews would be most appreciated. I do not own the rights to the characters Chuck and Blair, the CW, Stephanie, and Josh do.
Citizens of the UES believed that the Empire Hotel was Chuck Bass' greatest
accomplishment, and up until today they were correct in this assumption, as Chuck believed so
as well. But Chuck Bass' greatest accomplishment now slept peacefully in the arms of Blair.
Belle Lillian Bass was born on August 1, 2011, exactly nine months after the night she was
conceived, which of course was Blair's 20th birthday party. Chuck turned to Blair and softly said
"You know Blair, this baby was our fate. If Dan hadn't shown the video at your party then we
wouldn't have broken the peace treaty and had steamy, hot, passionate sex on your piano, during
which I had forgotten to put a condom on as I was so in the heat of the moment". Blair looked up
from her daughter and replied "So you're saying that Dan Humphrey is partially responsible for
Belle's conception?" Chuck laughed and said "Well, I wouldn't go that far darling". Blair
laughed too and said "Promise me that Belle will never find out that she was conceived out of
hate sex, that would be very upsetting". Chuck's face went serious as he replied "Blair, while our
sex may have been out derived from hatred because of our hurtful actions to one another, Belle
was conceived out of love. You and I were still in love with each other that night, but neither of
us were ready to admit it because we had already hurt each other so much. So we closed our
hearts." To which Blair interrupted, "But not our legs" and winked. Chuck smiled and nodded as
Blair handed him their daughter. Blair heart warmed at the sight of father and child, as she knew
just how lucky Belle was to have Chuck Bass as her daddy, as he would be the only man who
would love and protect Belle for her entire life. As Blair gazed at the two people she loved most
in this world, she smiled and said "You know Chuck, up until now my favorite birthday gift was
the Erickson Beamon necklace that you gave me on my 17th birthday, but nothing will ever be
more special or precious to me that the gift you gave me on my 20th birthday, when we
conceived Belle." Chuck kissed his daughters tiny hand and then looked at Blair and replied "It
was my pleasure Blair, and you know better than anyone how truthful that is".
