BEFORE READING THIS AUTHORS NOTE YOU MUST HAVE READ ONLY THE GOOD SPY YOUNG*************************Ok here's the deal, I know Joe Solomon is a double agent and worked for the COC, but in this when he says 'we' he is referring to the good spys, and 'they' referring to the COC. Just clearing that up.
Disclamer : I don't own the Gallagher girls
Mr. Solomons POV –
Some people say that forbidden love will hardly ever happen. They say two enemies are enemies for a reason, and that reason being that they hate each other.
But Romeo and Juliet managed it, however badly it ended.
I know its true, because I've seen it with my own eyes. I clearly remember when the son of the leader of the Circle of Cavern kissed their main target. The girl that the Circle wanted to question and kill.
And it wasn't a honeypot.
The circle of Cavern is a group of assassins and dictators. They steal, lie, cheat, and kill. All spies do. We do it too. But for different reasons. They do it for power, we do it to protect.
Zachary Goode's mother was the leader of the circle. She killed her husband, she murdered tons of people. At Gallagher Academy, she was the kind of person we were teaching the girls to kill.
Matthew Morgan, my closest friend, had a daughter the same age as her son. A daughter that Mrs. Agent Goode wanted nothing more then to capture in whatever way possible. Zachary knew this. He knows Cameron Morgan well, from overhearing his mother, from instructions from her, and from talking to her.
I think teenage hormones may have had something to do with it also.
He was told to get close to her. Told to watch her, to learn about her. To report back any and all info to his mother. He was trying hard to look like an assassin when around Agent Goode. But, if you look closely, as I do, you could see that as they started to talk more, that Zach was watching her for other reasons.
His guard would slip when it couldn't. He isn't as Goode as he thinks he might be. Being full of yourself in dangerous, very dangerous. They went out together, as a sort of date. It was dim-witted and foolish, because love just gets in the way if you want to be a spy.
I thought that's all it would be, but I guess I just didn't look closely enough. I thought there was a possibility that Zach was just trying to get Cammie to like him, so he could turn her in.
I guess I'm the foolish one.
When he was leaving, he put his arms around her, dipped her, and kissed her, and any normal person could see the real passion. And I'm not a normal person.
From then on, I believed in forbidden love.
But Romeo and Juliet didn't have a happy ending, so I wonder what they could be expecting.
OK, this is from Mr. Solomons POV. I know it's a little OOC, but I figure even Joe Solomon can have a romantic side. And I thought it was interesting how forbidden Cammie and Zach are. Also, I don't really think Zach's mother told him to watch her, that it was all him, but I DO think he may have first been so interested in her because he heard her name being thrown around 'at home' . Also, I had mild Dyslexia, so please tell me any mistakes I made. Thanks. So, viola!
