A/N: The only thing I can take credit for is Allyson DuArte, my original character. The idea is mine, but there are some aspects taken from Gaston Leroux's original novel.

Summary: From the age of thirteen, Allyson had a distinct gift for music. Her mother, who cared for her alone after Allyson's father left one night, inspired her daughter and encouraged her to pursue her dreams. The two moved from nice to Paris, the city known for its famous Opera Populaire. Her mother passed away the day of the chandelier crash, leaving Allyson alone at the age of nineteen. Two years later, she finds herself in Box Five with her ability to sing and her passion about singing less than it had been. What started with a rose and a few kind words evolved into two amazing things, a rediscovery of talent and finding love.

And this is an Erik/OC pairing, but there will be plenty mentions of Christine in it.
