Marlene sat on her bed, her face in her paws. "No, no, no." she said. "I can't be pregnant!" she said to herself.
Two weeks ago, Skipper and Marlene went to one of King Julien's parites and got a little too wild...
You know what I mean.
"I'm so stupid!" She yelled quietly to herself.
She was on the verge of crying. She was stopped by a knock at the entrance.
She looked up to see, Jaydah, King Julien and Queen Juliette's daughter.
"Hi, Marlene," She said politely. "You said you would paint my nails today."
"Oh yeah, Hi, Jaydah!" Marlene said, trying to sound happy. "i'm so sorry, I forgot! Here, sit down here." Marlene said patting the place next to her on her bed.
"Okay." Jaydah said, excitingly.
Marlene rushed over to her nail polishes and scanned her fingers over the different colors. "What color do you want?" Marlene asked.
"Green and Blue, please." Jaydah replied, smiling.
Marlene picked up the blue and green nail polishes and walked over to Jaydah.
She took Jaydah's paw and started painting them with Green, first.
"You know," Marlene said, trying to get her pregnancy off her mind. "Your Dad painted my nails before."
Jaydah giggled and looked at, Marlene confusingly. "Huh?" she asked, laughing.
Marlene laughed and nodded. "Yep. The stupid Sky Spir-" Marlene stopped. She knew Jaydah beleived in the Sky Spirits and would be mad if Marlene had insulted them. "The Sky Spirits were mad at your Daddy and they sent a sign to him to be nice."
Jaydah giggled. "So he painted your nails?" she asked.
Marlene laughed. "Yep. Your uncle, Skipper helped him return to normal and be happy with the Sky Spirirts." Marlene continued.
-Yeah, Skipper...How are you going to feel about me having your kids?- Marlene thought to herself.
