'I remembered picking up Kurama after his first day of kindergarten. His cheeks were the brightest red I have ever seen and a huge smile was glued to his face. His eyes were shining so brightly and I saw a child like happiness I haven't seen in his eyes for a long time.

"Anything good happened in school today?" I asked him, and I remembered how eagerly he turned to me. He told me how he just met the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. I asked her what her name was, and until this day I still remember what my little Kurama said.

"Her name is Kagome and she's really pretty, and she's going to be my wife someday!" I remembered how I just laughed, patting his head. I couldn't help but think of how adorable he was and of course never believed he would even remember what he said today. He just frowned at me and crossed his arms.

"Mama just watch! I'm going to marry Kagome!"

That little boy grew, and the goal he had never changed. The little girl and the little boy grew up and fell in love. And as I think back on the past 22 years, I can't help but be amazed by their love. From kindergarten to now, they had never loved anyone else but each other, and I can't help but be amazed by this accomplishment of theirs. So, I'd like to say congratulations to the newly wed. I hope your life together will be as happy as the 22 years you have spent with each other. Be happy, and Kurama, I hope that your new goal will be to give me as many grandchildren as you can.'

Everyone in the reception hall couldn't help but laugh, and Shiori looked towards the couple. Both were sporting dark red blushes and Shiori couldn't help but chuckle. She put down the mike and walked back to her seat.

"Ah I can't wait until I get many grandchildren to spoil!"
