After a few years of pause, I'm back to Fanfiction and back right to the roots. Sorry to those who were reading this now. The story won't disappear, it will be updated regularly until all 13 chapters are online again.
To those who think they know this story: you are right. Crossroads was first published in 2010, written in my very poor English. Throughout the years, I've learnt a lot, improved my writing, so I returned to this story because I thought it deserved some polishing.
To those who read this for the first time: this is a crossover story between Tomb Raider and Uncharted. A tribute to everyone who loves adventure, action and thinks that Lara and Nate are just meant to work together.

Water was pouring in. Pouring in from everywhere, filling up the small space. Lara pressed her face against the ceiling, but the water had already reached her chin. One last breath… not enough air, not enough air.
She took a deep breath, and ducked for a last time. A last chance… She dived, the rumble of the water loud in her ears. She needed to think, needed to find the solution.
At the bottom, she saw the wheel. What could be the last sign? The last one that would save them… she whirled it around… not enough air.
She reached out once more, but the wheel with the Mongolian symbols blurred before her eyes. The lines distorted, her brain screamed for oxygen. Not enough air… Not enough air…
