"Bou-san! Left! To the left! NO! Your OTHER left!"
"Watch out! Boulder!"
"Bump those boxes and you gain items!"
"Stop yelling in my ear! I can't concentrate!"
"What are you guys doing when you're supposed to be working?" came a cold voice from, who else? Naru, of course.
Takigawa, Mai, John, Yasuhara and Ayako all jumped guility as they looked up from the small Nintendo DS Takigawa was holding. A series of crashing sounds and minor music played after Takigawa let go of the controls.
"Aaaaw... You were so close too..." whispered Mai to Takigawa.
"I know!" Takigawa whispered back to her.
"So close to what? May I ask? What is soooo important you guys have to stop working and gather around to jitter like little children?" Naru asked, his aura was showing he had every intention to kill.
"Aaaw come on Shibuya-san! Haven't you ever enjoyed some good ol' fun on any games?" asked Yasuhara cheekily. His mind was carefully forming a plan as he spoke and from his calculations... The results of this is going to be quite interesting...
"Look, its just a Nintendo DS? Cut us some slack! Playing little games like these increase your moral, helps you have an faster reaction time, trains you concentration and keeps your brain in fit condition! I think all of that is what we need in between our ghost busting missions so we don't get all raw with too much rest between them sometimes. Don't you think so Shibuya-san? said Yasuhara as he kept his poker-face smile on.
"..." Naru continued to glare at the for a minute longer before he broke the silence. "Very well... Mai! Tea!"
"What? But it's my turn now!" Mai whined as she got up and headed to the kitchen.
"How about this? Shibuya-san, how about you try and play for Mai's part for now while she is in the kitchen?" asked Yasuhara san. His glasses gleamed so you couldn't see his eyes in his poker-face smile.
"Eh? But I don't want him to play my turn! That's not fai-" Mai stopped in mid-sentence as Yasuhara caught her gaze. As she watched Yasuhara hand the game console to a slightly out of his zone Naru, Mai cried "Fine! I'll go and Naru can have my turn then!" and she stomped off crossedly. In the kitchen she burst into hysterical giggles as she tried to imagine it. Naru. Playing. Nintendo. DS.
The End
Note from Nikokami~
This absurd idea came upon me when I got bored playing all my current games and started imagining what some animes (that aren't made into games already) would be like if they were games. Ghost Hunt came to me as something that would probably be a bit similar to Phoenix Wright… And as I imagined it… somehow the image of Naru holding onto a NDS came into my mind and I cracked… what can I say? LOLZ!
