What a Slayer Is

Summary: **Part of the 'Telling a Different Way' series** Oz doesn't need to explain the supernatural this time, just the Slayers.

Warning: some language in this one…surprisingly from Oz, not Faith.

Timeline: sometime after graduation, but Oz never left and Faith never went evil.

"Slayers are girls. They can kick your ass. Fuck off," the newly-rescued Oz snarled at his former captor.

This 'hunter' demanded an explanation for Slayers and kidnapped him to get it. Little did the guy know that he had a 'monster' in his custody. Oz was lucky that Faith was passing through the area and caught Willow's SMO (Save My Oz). No doubt this 'man' would have added his pelt to his collection – just like Cain tried years ago – if he had found out he was a werewolf.

Faith glared the black hunter on the ground. Normally, she'd go for a studmuffin like that – especially with his mad hate for vamps – but this guy was even crazier than she had been when she first got to Sunnyhell. "Come after any of us again and you'll be a footnote in history."

A/N: The hunter is Gordon Walker, in case you couldn't guess.
