Cheesy Beginnings

I don't own Diary of a Wimpy Kid.

It was a sunny March day. It was the annual school picnic, where the entire school sat and played in the school yard for the entire day. "Lunch time!" The vice principal had announced on a megaphone.

Everybody grabbed their lunches and sat scattered around the yard. Some kids sat on the playground, some on the field, and some on the basketball courts. One kid, Josh Malcord, was a trouble maker. He often got into trouble for food fights, vandalism, and just plain bullying.

Lunchtime One Day…

He made sure all the lunch aids were out of the cafeteria. He was absolutely positive, so he had to make it quick, because they were to come back in just a few minutes. Josh stood on the table. "EVERYBODY!" He shouted. The whole cafeteria stopped talking and stared at the boy. "I would like to announce that on the annual school picnic, this year, I'm going to become the baddest student ever to come to this school." He informed. Everybody continued listening. "I'm gonna start the biggest food fight in school history at the picnic. Just wait and see." He said, and that hopped off the table to resume eating his lunch. Soon every kid in school found out about his plan, and they were all going to participate. It would truly be a huge food fight.

Josh unwrapped his sandwich, a Big Mac. He aimed for Robert Tonkins, a kid who had said wanted to help him. He hit Robert directly in the head, and soon everybody started to join in and throw food.

That day, Josh had been expelled, and his parent's had shipped him off to a local Juvenille Detention center. The next day, a major cleanup went on at the school. Parents of the students all pitched in to clean up the food. They had finished cleaning up everything, until they came to a piece of Swiss cheese. It was all moldy and smelly, nobody wanted to touch it.

All the parents just avoided the cheese and left it there. And of course, if you have read the books, you would've known how the cheese touch started. So this is the story of how the cheese and made it's way onto the basketball court, March 18th of 2005.
