Nightmare:
I strolled around the corridors, looking for hiding couples and mayhem causers like I was supposed to. I felt nothing but contempt for those who got caught.
Wasn't it bad enough that you'd eventually break up, but you had to sneak around to love each other?
Every time I saw two people together, the only two people I'd think of were the two I never wanted to think of.
Every time.
I would see a red headed girl with wide green eyes and an open heart, that had been taken away by an arrogant hazel eyed boastful boy, with no right to have her.
In the beginning, only I had loved her.
Only I.
But she hadn't believed my warnings, and chosen to go the other way, and I'd lost the only one I'd loved. The only one.
And it was my fault. It was my fault she was gone. So ever since then, I swore I'd never love again. My last tribute to her.
I heard someone move in the broom closet, and I attempted yanking it open. It didn't work. Some one had used a spell on it.
Cursing silently, I quickly unlocked it with a simple charm I'd invented back when I was younger and more free. Opening the closet, I smelled the musky scent of an old closet. It hadn't been used in years.
But inside took me back to a nightmare that had happened years before. A nightmare.
I saw a red head girl kissing a messy haired boy with glasses. Potter. I saw them hugging each other, hands entwined, lips never parting for a second.
I was sinking into an old nightmare.
I yanked them apart. "What is going on?" I asked in a cold voice.
They glared at me, and the spell was broken. Their eyes had been switched. Potter had her eyes. She had Potter's eyes. They were all wrong.
"Is it illegal to be with people at Hogwarts?" Potter asked in the same arrogant tone.
"Not yet," I said. "Fourty points from Gryffindor. It's illegal to be outside in the halls after curfew."
I glared at them. "But-" Potter began, Lily's eyes flashing at me. Nightmare.
"Detention," I snapped, "Wednesday at 8 o'clock."
He took the time to glare at me once more, before holding hands with the red headed girl and walking away.
I watched them, closing the door, hearing it creak. Fate had cursed me. I'd done wrong, and now, ages later, I had to watch with dread as it happened again.
Potter and the red-head girl. I'd loved her. I'd loved her and she left me for Potter. It mattered not that their eyes were different.
They had the same spirit.
Potter and Weasley.
Potter and Lily.
Shaking my head, I walked down the hallway, my memories, my guilt, all washing over me once more.
A/N: What do you think? It was just a little drabble I thought would be fun to write. In case you didn't get it, Snape is patrolling and catches Harry and Ginny kissing. But he doesn't see them. He sees a red head and a Potter kissing. James and Lily. Get it? Lol, yeah =D Tell me if it was any good and review for me? Lots of Love-Catherine
