Bleeding, you first see it
Lying in pain
Others support you, encourage
Overcome you injures
Deal with the pain, ignore the red crimson

NIGHTMARE

Nothing to tell you that it's fake
It alerts others, your screams
Good, it's finally over
Held by your family
Tell them through sobs
Many minutes pass, the tears still flow
"Are you alright?"
Reply, a small smile
Enough love surrounds you, sleep returns

DEATH

Deal with it, never
Everyday, you are reminded
A family member gone
Tears flow in remembrance
How to live without them? You don't know

SLEEP

Soothing, refreshing
Light fades into darkness
Escape from real life
Every problem is on hold
Perfect silence

REALITY

Real or fake, that is sometimes the question
Everyday seems to fall into the category of one or the other
An event happens, questioning one's sanity
Living becomes dreaming
In till, you are woken up
Talking to someone is just not real
Yet it felt like it actually happened

BREATH

Balanced
Reality fades, the annoying siblings
Every fiber welcomes new oxygen
A moment to breathe

Healthy, relaxing

ANGER

A snarled response to a simple question
Nothing will dissipate the flowing poison
Growling comes from lies
Everything is ignored except for the other
Reply, the final one is one that is regretted

HUMANS

Horrified, wanting us controlled
Unfortunately, we are seen as animals
Monster, that is our name
Anger, controlled by it
Never do they ask of a family or a name
Sometimes, rarely do we find ones that respect us

DECISIONS

Death, the result from a wrong choice
Everyone waits for my answer
Controlled voices, there is silence
I am the leader, it's my call
So the question is, what do I do?
I can be reckless, but myself in danger
Or but them in harms way
Now I know, the one to chose
Siblings, they come first

PAIN

Purposeful hurt, delivered by an enemy

A signal something is wrong
Idea, one that blossoms into fear and worry
Never does one want to see another in pain

FLYING

Floating

Sometimes it feels like you are lying on a cloud

Everything fades, you are alone

Pain, an injury is gone

Nothing penetrates the silence, the bliss

Then you come crashing down, the feeling of flying gone

MOTHER BEAR

My mouth releases a snarl

I glare once more at the attacker

You have crossed a line, the one never to cross

There is hell to pay

I watch as you squirm every moment I gaze

"Run" Is my only word

Breaths of rage escape me

I increase my pace, with every step

My eyes burn with anger

I lung, you fall and maternal instinct is released

FIRE

Sometimes it burns, most fear it

I embrace it

I am fire, raging

Red is my color, everyone sees it

Cooling, I keep things calm

Control my opposite

Keeping my eyes on her, always

BONDS

Connections made, some through blood

Ones are made in a day, over a lifetime

Some are ignored, but nothing can stop them once they take hold

Define they are, the quicker they are formed

Broken, some are and others are cherished

PROMISES

They are prominently made

What is right, is to uphold it

On occasional days they are kept

Then others are shattered, most are never kept

I watch are hearts are broken, lives destroyed

Then I smile, some are remembered

Easily they are fulfilled

Christmas day surprises are plenty proof of that

SECRETS

Things are hidden, stored

Everyday there are traces of deception

Crafty stories told

Most know that it is not right

Carrying weight, every moment

Some finally collapse and tell all

But some swear themselves to secrecy; they will never lose the hidden darkness

LIES [AN: Future turtles]

They spread, a web looming

I require them, yet they are destructive

Tears are shed everywhere they are told

Untangled, the bitter truth shows

BOLD

Some moves, plans are subtle

Others exploding with crazy ideas

Which to choose? The question echoes in most heads

Most have learned by this time, still some are clueless

To stand out, you have to be daring

Determined to do whatever it takes

Deceptive, to protect others

Most leaders keep the word close to their heart

To know the best move, to lead with pure confidence
