So I had offered some drabbles to everyone who reviewed a specific chapter of my Tristan/OC fic "Hawk Visions" and here they are!
Strangely enough only 3 people asked for them. I would have thought free would attract more people lol. That being said, I might be willing to take more King Arthur drabble requests here too!
Anything you recognize doesn't belong to me. BTW, Aisling is the heroine from Hawk Visons, but beyond the mention of her, these stories are not considered part of that verse.
1. LOTRRanger:
It was not what he'd expected, and as he waited, Tristan thought the gods had taken his life in their hands.
He should not have survived. He thought he'd die in battle defending his brothers, giving his life for that fabled "future." Why should he have lived, anyway? What reason was there for a warrior to live in peacetime?
The crowd began to chatter, and he turned and froze.
There, flowers in her hands and hair and eyes shining, was his reason. She reached him and took his hand, and together they listened as the Merlin made them one.

Aisling laughed softly as she surveyed the youngest night. Galahad was somehow propped against the door to her quarters with his feet half way up the wall and his head on the floor. Clearly he'd had a bit too much celebration. She eyed him thoughtfully; he'd be certainly be too heavy for her to drag on her own.
A deliberate footstep warned her of her love's approach, and then she heard an amused snort. She glanced up at him.
"What should we do with him?" His mouth twitched.
"Lancelot's passed out with the pigs. Galahad can join him."
1. Breehime:
"What do these mean?" she asked softly, tracing his tattoos in the dark. She didn't expect an answer, but these quiet moments between them gave her courage. Tristan shifted, his hand stroking her side, then spoke.
"They're me, as our Seer saw me. The day I became a man, she looked into my future. 'A hawk,' she said. 'Talons piercing, eyes keen. He who flies alone above the land.'" His free hand reached up to follow her fingertips along his face. "They're me."
"You're not alone now."
He kissed her gently.
"No, I'm not now."
