Christmas Wish

Abby got into her car after work. She was astounded that Timmy had managed to get Fisher's mom in MTAC. It was the best Christmas present ever. However she was slight disappointed that Tim hadn't giver her anything. She knew she was being selfish but that kiss he had giver her had left her wanting more. She had wanted to talk with him but he had managed to slip away while she was saying good-bye to Turner and Carol. "Oh well," she thought. "There's always next year."

Abby had arrived at her apartment but couldn't bring herself to get out of the car. She wanted to go to Timmy's apartment and feel the comfort of his strong arms wrapped around her as she slowly drifted off to sleep. But she knew that would never happen again, especially since she had told him that they were wrong for each other. By now Abby had been reduced to tears. There was no way she could spent the night alone in her apartment where she would be constantly reminded of the many nights she had spent there with Tim. Maybe she could sleep at Gibbs' house, he'd understand. But Abby saw something that made her change her mind. Abby quickly got out of her car and headed straight to her apartment, to afraid of disappointment to hope that her Christmas wish would come true. She fumbled for her keys but there was no need the door was already unlocked. Tim was there waiting for her. "Timmy!" Abby cried as she flung her arms around him. "I knew that was your car in the parking lot!"

"Abs, you've been crying. What's wrong?" Tim asked, noticing the mascara running down her face.

"Nothing Tim, It's fine."

"OK. If I can't fix it maybe Santa Clause can. Close your eyes real tight and think of the thing you want most for Christmas."

Abby did as she was told. She had butterflies in her stomach and was positive that Timmy could hear her heart beating. But as he pressed his lips against hers all he doubts and fears disappeared. How had Santa known that this was exactly what she wanted for Christmas?
