I wrote this story during my break at work!

If there were two things Natalie truly loved, they were drugs and Henry. She honestly felt like she could not live without either one of them. But as time went by, it looked as though she would have to choose between one and the other.
"Nat, I hate you like this!" Henry told her one night.
"I know, Henry!" Natalie said, "I'm trying to stop, I really am!"
"No you aren't!" Henry said. Natalie looked hurt. Henry sighed and took her hand. "Nat, I love you, but this isn't doing you any good. You need to find another way to deal with you stress."
"Like what, pot?" Natalie looked accusingly at Henry. He paused for a moment.
"I quit pot." Natalie looked at him with shock.
"What when?"
"Just right now." Henry told her. "Nat, I love you more than anything else, and if giving up pot is going to help you get over your addiction-It is an addiction, Nat- then I'll give up pot." Natalie thought for a moment.
"You'll never go through with it." She said quietly.
"Watch me." Henry walked over to Natalie's bedroom door, but stopped before opening it. He turned back to her. "You know, Natalie, one of these days, I'm not going to be around to drive you home."
"What's that supposed to mean?" Natalie asked angrily. Henry thought for a moment.
"I don't know." He said at last, and walked through the door.
The very next Saturday, Henry got a frantic call from Natalie.
"Henry? Henry, please come get me! Everything is fuzzy, and I feel so sick and-" she sobbed.
"Shh-It's okay, Natalie, what club are you at?" Natalie gulped to hold back her tears.
"I think-I think it's Electra's, please come get me, please!"
"Calm down, Nat, I'm on my way." Henry grabbed his keys and ran to the door, throwing on a pair of his sister's flip-flops on the way.
Despite her vertiginous state, Natalie was able to smile at the thought of Henry coming to save her. Even after their fight, Henry still loved her enough to come rescue her.
But Henry never came. Natalie was both furious that he had told her he was coming to get her and never showed up, and sad that he truly did not care about her any more. Natalie grew tired of waiting and decided to walk home, hoping the cool night air would set her straight. That is when she saw it.
Down the street, police cars swarmed the area. The flashing lights made Natalie's head throb, but still, she ran towards the scene. With horror, she saw what she had already known she was going to see. Henry's car, completely totaled, flipped over on the street, and another car, which was pretty banged up too, but nowhere nearly as bad as Henry's. She ran over to one of the police officers, not caring if he saw how messed up she was.
"Where's Henry?" She shouted at him, "Is he alright?"
"Miss, you can't be near here"
"I DON'T CARE! WHERE'S HENRY?" She looked behind the cop and saw her worst nightmare. Three men were moving a stretcher with a body bag on top of it.
"No… NO!" She fell to the ground and sobbed. The officer tried to comfort her, but no words were enough to make her feel any better. Henry was gone, and if she had not been messed up at a club, he would still be alive.
His words echoed through Natalie's head,
"One of these days, I'm not going to be here to drive you home."
So that is that! How did you like it?
