Summary: A light piece this time, where Hiei decides to be infuriating, and Kurama decides to be infuriated.

۪۠۠ۤ

Say Please

۪۠۠ۤ

"You're a mystery that's best left unsolved," Hiei says in an offhand manner, while polishing his sword.

۪۠۠ۤ

Kurama, all too used to Hiei's bouts of talkativeness, puts his pen down, nestles his chin on a fist and replies, "Heh…"

۪۠۠ۤ

Sheathing the weapon, the fire demon turns to smirk at his companion, "Without it, perhaps you'll just be a decrepit riding on the edges of his old fame. You're probably surrounded by empty glamour."

۪۠۠ۤ

A pencil buries itself millimeters away from Hiei's ear. Kurama is scribbling again. Taking the thing out of the wall, the half-Koorime chucks it just as accurately – it lands in the middle of the half-youko's homework, ripping paper.

۪۠۠ۤ

Hiei barely manages to dodge deadly rose petals as he speeds out the window. Kurama gives chase.

۪۠۠ۤ

۪۠۠ۤ

۪۠۠ۤ

Sounds of things being broken open, chopped in half, or of sizzling fills the area. Kurama dodges slashes with ease, returns some blows. Hiei makes contact, rips a part of the redhead's sleeve just as the latter twists away to avoid a fatal hit. He lands on the ground, touches it with his fingertips, and sends sharpened roots upwards. They pursue Hiei until he plants a foot on a tree trunk, body parallel to the ground. He then kicks off and heads straight towards his opponent.

۪۠۠ۤ

Kurama throws a seed, and midair, it sprouts into a mess of vines. Hiei somersaults instead, and upon alighting, shoots a flame out of his arm, easily incinerating the pathetic thing. He moves to drive another blow at his opponent, only to realize that he was missing his sword –

۪۠۠ۤ

The redhead walks away, an almost cocky beat to his steps. He nearly laughs as he glances back over a shoulder at the seething fire demon, resting the blunt edge of the other's sword innocently (infuriatingly) on one shoulder. The blade glimmers along with Kurama's eyes, "You know, Hiei, you can just ask me nicely if you want to spar."

۪۠۠ۤ

"Hn." Hiei appears beside the redhead, who complies and returns the weapon. As he sheaths the thing, Kurama continues, "You didn't have to ruin my homework, either."

۪۠۠ۤ

"I could tell you were bored."

۪۠۠ۤ

Exchanging looks (one with mirth, the other, smug), the two walk leisurely back to the house.
